I then requested them to reduce my existing credit limit to 30% and issue a new card. After a long wait, they finally agreed — they reduced my existing card limit from 8 lakhs to 5 lakhs and issued a new card with a 6 lakh limit.

I have Live+ card with me and posting the MCC codes I have got as below for earlier transactions,

Merchant name -> MCC Code

AMAZONIN -> MCC code is 5411

AMAZON PAY INDIA PRIVATE -> MCC code is 5399 from my past purchases.

Not sure it tagged based on the Groceries category while purchasing !!

Yesterday agent from hsbc called for hsbc rupee card ..I am existing customer already am visa platinum card holder she just asked for pan number and all the details ...she fetch from my existing card ...she send link for e sign i did and ekyc from aadhar ...she doesn't want salary slip boli soft aproval aa gaya hai salary silip baad mien mail kar dena , she send her hsbc official email id...all the process went well in 15 minutes, received all the details of e sign and application and card agreement in email, she said your card is aprove and you got your card in 7 days but looks doubtful because salary silip baad mien kon leta hai process ke ....

can't help on that but can you clarify?
1. you get 10% on grocery even using upi or only on card swipes?
2. Min amount for getting 10%, is it 100 or any amount work like 50?
3. Min amount for 1.5% on upi, is it 100?

1. I've made txns online mostly on swiggy instamart and jiomart. Got only 1% on using the card directly.
2. Min amount for cb is 100 for sure.
3. No Idea, probably that's also 100 min
