I am Royally screwed by RBL Zomato Edition Card

TF Buzz
Had a 770+ CIBIL and recently applied for zomato edition card and got it. Used it for few hundred Rs in Zomato once and forgot. Received the due alert email. Clicked the pay full due amount, paid the bill and forgot. Turns out even though I clicked Pay Full Amount (some 410.18 Rs), they prefilled with 410 and left out 18 Paise. 18 Paise remained unpaid for 2 months, they charged me some 300 Rs as fine amount over the next 2 months. I noticed it, paid the fine and applied for closing of card. They accepted their fault and refunded the fine money. And all was okay.

This month credit score shows a drop of 85 CIBIL pts. A 18 paisa unpaid bill, brought down my CIBIL score to 680 from 770. I have never missed paying a bill in last 25 months of my credit history. What do I do now? @TechnoFino
Should I appeal to someone or let it go?

if the 410 rupees were paid before due date, then your credit score should not be affected at all. just revolving the credit to next month does not lead to credit score decrease.

Always round off next greater integer. I always do it.

Just ask the bank to remove the default of 0.18 paisa from the report, which was their default in the first place.

Also, Start using some personal finance app to track your spending and also credit card debt.

I use Wallet app which gives me bird's eye view of pending CC bills.

I had paid the 410 Rs that I had as bill in time. Then stopped using this credit card in the coming months and forgot about it. But 100 Rs per month as overdue for the next 2 months got accumulated and I didn't pay this Rs 200 overdue for 2 months as I didn't even notice it. So basically this 200 Rs shows up in my credit report with some 30-40 days as late period.

they charged me 200 Rs as late payment fee. they accepted their fault and reversed it. But thing is i didn't notice this 200 Rs late fee and didn't pay it for 40 days after the bill. This late payment is what shows up in my credit report. But bank reversed it. But reversal doesn't reflect in my credit report

sorry i missed the part that 2 months due was there.

so the bank has removed all charges pertaining to this whole episode? if the bank has reversed it then there is a hope that cibil will make correction in their next refresh. also drop an email to rbl asking them to send the suppression request to cibil, as cibil doesn't take any action unless directed by the bank.

It's their fault they charged you late fee for something like that. So ask them remove the overdue amount from the report.

Any limitations or feedbacks about the app?
Last time I tried it was not syncing my cards data properly.
Does it support all indian bank card?

I don't use syncing feature so can't comment. I manually enter all the transactions. Overall it's good app. Tried finding alternative to this but haven't found anything yet.
Manual entry is difficult for me as I have more than 12 cards including add-ons.
I use cred and ind money auto tracking. Created separate Gmail for forwarding all my statement mails etc from original mail. Gave cred and ind money access to this new mail.
INDMoney tracks all bank accounts, Mutual funds, Stocks, EPF, loans, credit cards in one place.

Also added reminders on Alexa to manually remind me of due dates

I also have 13 cards but I don't do many transactions, that's why it's easy to manually enter them.
