Is there any way to get ICICI Sapphiro LTF via alumni program without having institute name in their list? Is anyone got it?

On the netbanking portal I see my to be delivered visa sapphiro has first 8 digits of this bin 45017216.

However the bookmyshow offer page doesn't have this as eligible bin...can someone enlighten if they have this bin number and are they able to use BMS offer?

Also just a noob query...i have a hsbc platinum card as well but I have never been able to get any tickets off that on BoGO offer due to limit exhaustion. What is the situation with sapphiro? Do you guys get the benefit or there is quota limits on that as well?

Saphiro shudnt be a problem i think, its a nonsense card overall, not many people wud have it.

My process follow till today:
Day 1 Saturday: Filled online application

Day 2 Sunday: Received call 4th time (unable to pickup on Saturday an Sunday afternoon) from ICICI bank representative (6:49 PM) and tell all details and Video KYC done (7:25 PM)

Day 3 Monday: Received SMS from ICICI with new application number and my application is under process will be completed with in 15 days.

Day 5 Wednesday (Today): Get a call (9:10 AM) from unknown guy who asked my address and said he is coming for physical verification for ICICI bank loan (he think that I have applied for loan) asked about salary, job, designation, family members, name of 2 neighbors and clicked photo of my home. [I asked him weather he works for icici bank then he told me that I am from private agency and we do this for HDFC, ICICI and PayTM)

Now waiting response from ICICI bank as I am unable to track my application on ICICI bank website and iMobile.

Will update what next happened with me 😊

UPDATE:
I received a call from ICICI bank Credit manager for my card as she (One of my junior) gives credit ratings to cards in Jaipur division.
She told me that card will be ready till this evening with credit limit of 3 Lac. I asked for extra limit then got response that currently they are approving with initial 3L limit in Jaipur division.

In my experience, ICICI Bank has the lamest customer care executives. Have been their customer since few years so I can definitely vouch for their incompetence.

Do you have any ICICI cards?? just for confirmation because ICICI cards offer 10% discount most of the times on websites like Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, ICICI, Ajio, Tatacliq, Nykaa and many more. When you get a LTF card that too like Sapphiro, it will be useful.

And Axis magnus is devalued on lounges and are available in limited cities only, ICICI tie up with Dreamfolks and you get access to Lounges and SPA access also available.

Just posted this and was wondering if there's anything better? for Nykaa - cause dont see any ICICI offer right now.

Hi, I have applied through LTF sapphiro link and got the card recently. I am from an IIT and Institute name is in the list.

But I got Joining charges on my current month statement. Neither the welcome letter, nor any verification call, nor any person, nor any email mentioned that the card is not LTF. Without checking, I have made transaction with the card.

I have mailed the customer care to verify its LTF, but they said its not LTF. They have raised service request for miss selling card with charges. Its been 5 days no update was recieved from them.

I tried contacting the agents again by fillinh the form again, but every time they hear the story from start and say that they will solve it, but they havent done anything.

How can I proceed further. Need your help on this

I would say wait for the customer care, but pay your bill- else non payment will get reflected in your cibil. If the customer care level 1 support doesn't resolve, ask them to escalate it. Eventually it should get resolved. do u have any mail where you had uploaded your degree / card application form where it states that it's LTF or the mode from where you have applied?

I have applied through the LTF sapphiro link website, where it says the card is Life time free. Like everyone else who applied through link I dont have any other document where it says LTF.

I have uploaded the degree certificate on the vkyc link only and didnt mailed the certificate after that. Customer care team doesn't have idea that, there is this LTF offer going on.

I will wait for a week. Lets see if they can do anything.

Finally got 15 days message today. So one step further 😂.

Got spammed with same usage settings changes for 2 different last 4 card digits, which i don't have yet. So probably i have been issued MasterCard and amex variants. Now i can't take risk of closing these 2 cards by asking for visa Variant 😅.

Btw, nothing in netbanking or Mobile banking yet.

Edit: Now reflecting in mobile app and netbanking. Generated pin and activated card.
