ICICI Bank Times Black Credit Card Launched - Full Details & Review

Admin has posted the updated fee structure. So we can see a good number of applications for ICICI now.

Now @Nishan11 is right. The question now is - how many of this card holders be willing to renew it by paying annual fee or achieving annual target of 25 lacs.

A better win-win situation would be if ICICI makes the card LTF after charging joining fee, OR reduces the annual target to 5 lacs OR gives reward points equal to the annual fee.

There is no reason to spend 25 lacs annually with 2% reward points, just to save annual fee of 20k + GST.

It would've been sooo much better at 10k per year.

Giving 2% for ICICI is a big thing. As there are annual benefits too let’s see how it goes.

Atleast ICICI should add BMS offers to this card. Thats the main USP of ICICI cards.

As I received and experienced DCB Metal, I had been thinking of closing EPM card. One of the important reasons that hooks me to this card is the BMS offer.

Yes. BOGO upto INR 1000 off twice a month would be great.

Related Update (20th Dec, 2024):
ICICI Bank updated their MITC once again on 16th December 2024. As per the latest MITC, the first-year fee (Rs. 20,000 + GST) for the Times Black Credit Card has been removed. Customers now only need to pay Rs. 20,000 + GST at the time of joining.

We can wish but I have seen them only devaluing the cards not the other way round. Second reason why I moved my relationship to other banks although I’m still their customer for namesake

Devaluation is also a fear, seeing that anyone and everyone can get Times Card.

But for all other services, I have had good experience with ICICI. Would always like to continue with ICICI bank for everything except credit cards.

Changed my mind. Also customer care did call back and tell it's only for card holder that too offered between 45 days of fee realisation.

I'm thinking to take the card for a sole reason of Visa application.... I have a Dubai trip planned for my parents and I'll need to take Visa so I'll have to pay 15k for both of them anyways can anyone clarify is it worth taking this card then apply visa? Or will it even allow me to take Visa for my parents when I'm the card holder? Any inputs will be helpful. I tried reaching ICICI customer care they're clueless stating new card we don't know anything much.
I won't rely on some newly launched (tied to a credit card) card service in India for my parents' visa.

Just a guess, I think the vochure will work for the processing fee and not for the actual visa cost. Get the terms clarified before applying.

- noticed that waiver is on processing fee only charged by Atlys
- for domestic lounges, use times black card (not the PP). So one can access the lounges only on visa network (better if Infinia like complimentary domestic lounges via PP was offered)

If Easemytrip booking gets canceled, voucher is forfeited. Lovely 😂

Most of the perks is designed for metro city customers. Tier 2 customers can't avail Most features.
Specifically Bangalore. The helicopter feature is so cool but is absolutely useless for most people unless they’re in Bangalore
