ICICI Emerald Metal LTF & DCB Metal LTF

After failed attempts to get my hands on Emarald metal LTF, I am planning to go for paid version only ( for my card collection) since annual fees will be mostly recovered via redeeming via vouchers. Any of you has any idea is it possible to get LTF? Also how many of you have got the Emarald Metal (paid or LTF both).

Why am I still optimistic about getting this card LTF despite bank officials saying on face that LTF is not possible? Because HDFC bank officials said LTF DCB Metal is also not possible. But after some effort I managed too get DCB metal LTF.

For infinia my in-hand in way below, it is good for dcb. The spend criteria is satisfied for both. I paid for my new home interior work with RG hence good on spends.

What's interesting is that another branch in same city said LTF DCB is not possible at all. So it all depends on branch to branch in HDFC. You need to find "the guy" for your job. I can refer him if you want.
But all the branch of ICICI are trash 😛

You can directly email grievance redressal asking for upgrade based on these spends

For those willing to upgrade based on spends to Infinia ( 7.5-8 Lakhs within 6 months), then reach out directly to them via grievance email.
I think it's either grievance.redressalcc@hdfcbank.com or grievance.redressal@hdfcbank.com .
Banks folk won't do it for you unless they is something in it for them or they are your direct RM. Even if they are your RM, don't have two high hope as most RM are useless piles of stones...

They generally ask something for bargain.

As he mentioned above, ltf quota is on hold, so no point in reaching out when you already know what the reply would be.

For existing DCB plastic customers they are issuing the plastic version up on renewal but not for the newly onboarding customers

There are something’s we don’t hear frequently doesn’t necessarily mean they won’t happen

I am preferred banking customer in hdfc still not getting infinia metal ltf my rm saying directly no..can you help that how you have done it as ltf @SSV
