ICICI rupay Coral Rupay CC transaction failure refund issue.

I had a transaction of 4th Sep which had failed (similar issue as discussed above) but even after a week I didn't receive any refund for the same. So I escalated the same to RBI Ombudsman after which I received a response that indeed there was some issue with ICICI CC UPI transactions at the moment. The refund for the failed transaction would be credited within 30days from the transaction date.

Later on 28th Sep the refund was credited. During this interim i did not opt to raise a dispute against the transaction as my intention were to get the ₹100/day penalty from ICICI for the delayed refund. My strategy has at last borne fruits. Today I received a ₹2300/- credit from ICICI for the 23days delay ✌️😎
So, you ask for compensation or auto credited Rs2300 ?

I will have plenty of complaints to make in the near future..

Otherwise, I was keep complaining about this again and again here only how come they put half baked product into production and our @Abhishek012 bhai keep telling us that ICICI is still not officially launched cc on upi or something like that, which I still couldn’t understand fully.
Anyway please provide me the requested details.

ICICI support team told, by the end of this year all ICICI RuPay CC on UPI refund problem will get solved, that's why i told ICICI is still not officially launched cc on upi.

My issue as a customer is, for whatever reason if they can't sort out basic issues like how to treat a failed transaction, then the product should not have been in production..
That's all , it is simple from my perspective as a customer..
They can call whatever they want, launched. Or soft launched or whatever..
Not trying to debate with you, just telling my point of view as a customer..

Meanwhile I lost atleast 2*2300 on my failed two transactions..

Now please tell me if all of us had complained like @Md Kaif , would ICICI wait until Dec 31 to resolve this issue..
It is a major flaw from icici,
Disrespect for customers and taking us for a ride

Icici is best in many things but it doesn't care about customer service and satisfaction. I can say it clearly as per my experience. For ex, still we need to wait for their VIP customer executives to pick up our calls. They don't care

Well said. We as a customer should not be concerned about what their issue is. If I am making a transaction it should either be successful or reversed automatically. What icici doing was pure nonsense. I also missed 2300 😭.

Sometimes the waiting no. goes to 253-274 etc. If there was no Twitter I don't know if anyone could have got a call from them.

You have received Compensation for 23 days.

T+1 is for P2P Payments

For P2M Payments, T+5 is the TAT for Automatic Refund.
RUPAY CC UPI Txn Comes under P2M Txn.

You did a fantastic Job 😈.
