IDFC application rejection. Secured to unsecured? Pre-approval chances?

In the IDFC portal I was offered Mayura Metal, Ashva, FIRST Power+ and Millennia. (They gave a soft limit of 40K, which was really low)

I tried to apply for IDFC Millennia C2C with HDFC Millennia (2L) as a self-employed 3L, but they rejected my application because they couldn't verify the office address, ie my home. Physical verification was done, and the verification agent said it was fine and told them the business was fully online, but it still got rejected.
  1. Should I get a secured card, ie FIRST EA₹N Virtual and then get an unsecured card. Can you hold both secured and unsecured for IDFC and can I manually apply for unsecured? What's the process for secured to unsecured?
  2. I pay my CC bills from IDFC and have spends of close to 70K on the DC per month. Acc opened in Nov (3M old). Is there a timeline for pre-approval?
  3. Is there a benefit in applying as a student? Is IDFC liberal in that way?
  4. The customer service agent said there isn't a cooling period and you can apply right away, but is subject to internal company policy💩. Forums say min 3M. But 6M is recommended. Is this true?

I got a message today saying preapproved. 42K limit. No enquiry. I was offered Mayura Metal, Ashva, FIRST Power+ and Millennia. Card already showing in app.
PS - I first ignored the message (Mar 1st) because I thought it was marketing. I think it was preapproved because I spent 1L+ on the debit card last month.

Tried for IDFC CC many times, got rejected without any reason. Opened a 10k MAB savings account for FirstTap Debit card (for CC bill payment). Simultaneously applied for IDFC Millenia CC and got approved in a week. They matched limit with my SBI CC. But they did home and office address verification though! Also the IDFC application tracker is not reliable. You can use the card before delivery.
