yes, 3 is the number. They always block the DC when you make 3 transactions in a row.
Yes it is back now! Though I had logged customer care request and they said upto 48 hours. IDFC used to be kind of dead saving account for me. Only after learning of their DC rewards system, I got account upgraded to wealth and doing lot of churning in this account. But Debit card suddenly disappearing out of blue gave me little scare. Never seen this in any other account.
2 transactions in a day are fine. If your debit card is getting blocked frequently, they might impose total freeze on your account. Then you would have to visit nearest branch and give them a written complaint to unfreeze your account.
Happened to me too.. I did a transaction of 40 and 50k and was doing a 60k too but it got declined. Luckily I got the call to confirm the transaction of 50k and then the card immediately unblocked. I think to avoid this scenerio.. after the 2nd big transaction wait for 5 min at least and then try doing the 3rd transaction.. I have been following this and my dc have not been blocked yet.. 2nd transaction call can take anywhere from 5-10 mins so just have to wait a bit before 3rd transaction.
so when you do a trnx of over 1L, i remember i got a call from IDFC and i told the team i did the trnx and it valid but i was bit confused about the payment debited from my account but it failed from SBI so i said IDFC team something like i want a reversal so CS on another line blocked my DC and it DC got disappeared and in the morning i was back again or may be i called to IDFC CS and i got reinstated so the thing don't worry. now when i did over 5L and 1L so no call from IDFC.. and waiting for points.. so don't worry @HumorSimpson open an account in IDFC select/wealth.

Which one is reliable for CC pays via IDFC Select DC ? canara setu or sbi unipay ?
SBI Unipay, i haven't gave a chance to canra setu cause sbi unipay works..
I am having 100% success rate on Canara setu from the start itself. Moreover it also says "CCAvenue utility" at the payments page giving you the confidence that transaction is attached to 4900 MCC code.
And idfc DC gives rewards for this right?
Yes sir. 2 lakhs points milked so far on Canara setu alone.
