IDFC First Bank Launched its Debit Card Reward System

Update : Got monthly 250 pts in my account. trxn was done on 3rd but it shows pts given on 14th.

Now thing is on 3rd I did BSES payment of 1rs.
But on 14th as I didn't got 250 pts so I went into fomo and I did jio postpaid trxn of 10rs but those 10 rs got debit and got reversed too as my jio postpaid bill was already paid.

Idk if they gave me 250 pts for bses electricity payment of 1rs or they gave me for jio postpaid of 10 rs even though that was reversed but in rewards portal the date it shows is of 14th when the pts came in.

I think next time onwards I will always do jiopostpaid only as that is more reliable and may be 250 pts is not for electricity.


EDIT : I checked, even same thing happened in december, did 10 rs jio postpaid on 4th and it reversed on 4th as bill was fully paid but idfc never took 250 back, that's good and in jan I did axis bank 1rs credit card payment via app and i got 250pts for that too.

May be this works for postpaid and credit card bill payments only and not for electricity.

This happening for me too for past 2 months lol(i only discovered this is in January

Since it failed was not expecting that i will get the points but voila the points got credited)
I pay jio postpaid 10rs only it gets failed even though the bill got generated and it is due still i get the points next day

On 14th I got this tap card and I did a trxn on amazon (friday offr as this is a rupay plat card) for 320 rs (20% off), and now I did 1550 rs trxn today morning. Will I get 8k pts ? (I am a wealth customer).

Yes I used canara setu only, but thing is, they say if u do 1st trxn right for 1k+ for 8k pts, but my 1st trxn was for 320rs. 1550 was on setu and 320 was on amazon...

I have two IDFC accounts linked to the same customer id, I am under Select banking and have two First Select debit cards.

• Is the reward capping of 30000 points per month per debit card or at the customer id level?
• Is the 50k threshold for 10x points per debit card or per customer id? Meaning say I make 50k transaction on first debit card, would further transactions on the second debit card get me 10x rewards?

now that idfc has rupay tap card, can we use it on billdesk for amex payments? does it give rewards for it @Abhishek012 ?

No , I got only 200 points for the transaction done on 16th of January. It was also eligible for welcome points but i didn't receive any welcome point on this transaction. Further, I didn't receive any points for the transactions done on 19th, 22nd and 26th of January. Request is still in open status.
