IDFC First Bank Mayura Super Premium Credit Card & Ashva Premium Credit Card (Both Metal Cards) Launched

Oh for credit card enthusiastic like all of you just to collect for joining benefit make sense but 6500-7078.82= 578.82 need to recover through some other exclusive idfc offer right? If we pay n get 1% then 100 will be deducted then 478.82
Yes the additional amount we are paying is for Metal card. and we get 5X until 20000 spends for Wealth and 5X until 20000 spends for Mayura, of course there is only negligible benefit as Wealth is LTF and Mayura is charged.

The bogo n that depend of each existing cc portfolio of each user so that have no additional benefit. I think it should not be called premium cc just idfc metal though it just like au zenith+ but little extra fees against same structure of any idfc ltf.
I am planning to close Emeralde due to poor returns. The only benefit Emeralde gives is BOGO BMS and Spa which can be covered here. and premium metal form factor.

Hefty fees on addon card :O
The overall benefits are not worth the joining/annual fee (even with the introductory bonus points and cashbacks).

Would still prefer LTF "First Private" card anyday :hehe: (if that exists)

Thank you, so free spa is only for the primary card holder upto 4 times/quarter.
This is double the limit of IDFC Wealth, with the same Rs 20000 spend requirement in the previous month.
20000 spend is on all MCC codes except cash based transactions like withdrawal, payment of card fees, EMI, balance transfer, etc
So it will not work for me and my wife both when we are together. Only I can go in?
Was considering using this card as I have an internatonal trip planned in a month and was thinking of taking this card

Many branches don't accept First Private relationship due to un availability of RM. Yes there is no home branch concept in IDFC but very tough to get one. Tried with high NRV but my branch executive are not able to help.

But BOGO four times is 750x 4 = 3000 per month and 36000 per year. Ofcourse not possible to go for four movies in a month. And not every ticket is of 750 either.

But the bogo offer is high in this case.

Nd also the benefit of unlimited lounge access. Just that it's not metal rest compared wid mayur spend based is also there here. 15L spends for 14160 back. Just a thought...mm....

My usual tickets are in the range of 500 so 750 doesn't work for me. May be sometimes during my visit to Bangalore (Gold Class or Rex Director's Cut) and for 15L Spends we get 15000 bonus points (15000*0.25 = 3750.00).

They have mentioned Or here so that means either of the benefits can be used, not both.

Any user can apply for both the credit cards based on the profile and immediately card details will be displayed on the App and Net banking. I have applied for Mayura card and it's approved. My choice was for BMS BOGO, 0% Forex Markup, Joining Benefits and my love for metal credit cards.

Annual Benefit:

Annual benefit is only available for IDFC Mayura Credit Card. (Annual Fee Payment Benefit: Spend minimum ₹8Lakhs in the previous card anniversary year and get 7,500 Reward Points (worth₹1875) (Or) Spend minimum ₹15 Lakhs in the previous card anniversary year and get 15,000 Reward Points(worth ₹3750)

Overall Verdict:

IDFC launched cards just to fill the void of the paid metal cards in their portfolio. There are no super premium nor premium benefits on these cards, but the name and legacy they used is watchable to promote Indian names. At this price point they have maintained spend base access to Lounges, Golf, Spa etc.. and reward rare is not also good for this price point. Recommended only for Joining benefits.
What is a worthy premium card, if any, from IDFC for someone with infinia, atlas, and amex travel? TIA.

On the options you gave, the easiest to get and to get maximum rewards (to consider as worth premium card) Amex Plat Travel > Atlas. Infinia is good for smartbuy and need some high TRV, luck to get hands on it as on date.

My question was which IDFC card to get? Since this thread is about idfc cards. I already have those other 3 cards I mentioned.

That is an excellent decision, if you get all IDFC cards you don't need Emerald for unlimited Spa
