Idfc first select welcome kit

I've just been upgraded to idfc first select.

Bank customer care had informed they currently don't have the proper welcome kit box so if I'm in a hurry they could send welcome kit in envelope & that it would contain all items included in box.

On me stating I'm not in a hurry & would wait for proper welcome kit box they assured that I would not be sent envelope & they'd expedite box

But lo & behold I was sent envelope



I have seen multiple customers sharing the proper welcome kit they received.



Is there something that can be done?

GO TO THE BRANCH AND CREATE A RUCKUS FIRST
IF THEY DONT AGREE
GO TO CORPORATE OFFICE AND DO IT
IF THEY ALSO DONT AGREE GO TO RBI

Please mention that this is sarcasm else the OP or someone may actually follow above similar to the other guy who asked HDFC for LTF else cancel the card (and HDFC cancelled the card!)

U r not the same I didn't even receive the welcome box too for select .

That box was given as an Introductory offer for a limited period of 3 months when these Banking programs were Launched .
I got that box too but when i was upgraded to Wealth , I received an envelope only.
I understand your agony but this was a limited run . Sorry , bud !

There is nothing special in that box. Only a leather purse and a card holder.

Even i got normal envelope after upgrading to wealth.
Idfc was offering that box kit in starting few months.

But you can ask your branch manager.

My branch manager gifted my that leather purse and cardholder seperately he also sent same for all my family members at home via RM.

you're missing nothing.

box is anyhow going to dustbin in sometime and box is not even worthy of keeping it. Enjoy the upgraded account and benefits which comes along with it.


I wish banks instead of giving big boxes provided value additions if they desire to provide something or a simple envelope containing what's necessary are more than enough.

I still remember the big box in which Au zenith card and it was utter disappointment to the level of waste generated for such a small card and leather card holder, all papers, box were discarded next day itself.
