IDFC Started Issuing Power+ as Second Card

Hi All,

IDFC has started issuing Power+ as second. This was not available before. Only IDFC Vistara was eligible as second. Now you can also apply for Power+ card with shared limit. Instant approval & virtual card available for existing IDFC customers. I got my card today morning.

The worst fuel credit card is idfc power plus. Too much extra charges around 3% which almost nullifies the reward points.

I think culprit is ICICI POS machine. Now IDFC Rupay cards also started linking with UPI, you can try paying by scanning QR or use HP Pay.

HP Pay is also the worst, have to request them (HP guys) to accept payment through HP Pay, and most of the time they refuse to accept payment using HP Pay. The reason is they dont get instant updates that payment is really happening.

When you know direct swipe may have problems, then why you did that ??

Mne toh suna hai दूध का जला छाछ भी फूंक कर पीता हैं

I got reward points on direct swipe. but
1. did not received welcome bonus of 500 of first transaction
2. fuel surcharge is charged at 3% as someone else mentioned

But each and every time whether we need to ask for this?!

Until there is 3% surcharge, there is no use of this card. Off course it is on RuPay, hence if someone doesn’t have Rupay, they can keep it.

Will swipe at any other outlet and share the results

Do not do txns at Paytm QR via UPI.

My Kotak IOCL txn chagred at 11.8 even for UPI at a Paytm QR-Petrol Pump.😔

Try to avoid that outlet or particular POS Machine

The outlet and pos are not at fault.

I filled up my tank yesterday, and paid half using magnus and half using idfc pp. on the same pos machine.

Magnus got 1% while idfc charged 3%.

Issue is with IDFC only. They are charging very high surcharge. worst fuel card I have seen.

Also aren't we suppose to get 6 Payback points for payment via HP Pay QR? I'm only getting 4 per Rs. 100.
