Go to petrol pump , ask the attendant to enter the mobile number in ICICI / ONGO POS available at RO. then if your refuelling value is less than or equal to the value of XR points , redeem option will appear in POS.
That exactly is the problem in this entire process: getting the attendants to take extra efforts in picking up a machine and punching a couple of numbers. If people were successful in getting that done, the world would've been a happier place. Attendants at any pump (HP/BP/IOCL) are way too reluctant to do this. They will either say the machine isn't functional or they will straightway refuse to do it. Ideally I can earn XtraReward points just by punching my number and the amount for which I refueled my vehicle. This is true even if pay by cash (w/o any debit or credit card). But the staff don't entertain these requests and that's why I said converting RP/edgemiles to XtraReward points is a complete waste as they will never get converted to free fuel because of the staff with such attitude. That's why CITI IOCL redemption was the easiest. It was independent of these moody attendants at the IOCL pumps.

If once a month is good enough for somebody they wouldn't be taking eazydiner card anyway I guess.
Also you need the eazydiner membership to avail the max discount at some.
I meant you can use this LTF card instead of paid Indusind Signature.
For small transactions you can use LTF Indusind Platinum.

Its useless. The discount is not much. You are better off using swiggy/zomato. Most of the restaurants on EazyDiner also available on other apps.
Its just pointless getting a card for once or twice a month dining benefit.
On average I use EazyDiner 12 times a month. Thats when the card is unbeatable even by high end cards.

its just a feature available in this card as extra benefit. If found useful one can utilize it, otherwise there are always better alternatives.

Fuel cards main benefit for fuel purchase, here along with extra benefit.

Its never useless for limited use and agree that pointless getting the card for that dining discount only, this card meant for fuel.

You forgot the most important point, the card isn't meant for dining. As the thread says it's Revaluation. This means added benefit as compared to Citi Indian Oil.
I was about to close this as I already have LTF SBI BPCL Octane. I also have HDFC Swiggy LTF, it only gives 10% cashback.
But this card still makes sense as it give 30% discount upto 150 on Zomato and 25% discount upto 800 on Eazydiner.
Being a LTF card for most, what else do you want?

There WAS a very simple hack to this, which I had been using for the past 3 years before RBI's hammer on Paytm Wallet.

On the Paytm App, we could directly link XtraRewards to our Paytm Wallet and then convert points to paytm's "Fuel Wallet" which would be used whenever simply paying at IOCL pumps with their Paytm QR code specifically(not generic UPI barcode). But alas, now it's not possible. Now I always request to pay via card and they then have to bring the card machine which has the option to redeem/credit the XtraRewards
