INDIE , the IndusInd's SUPER APP - for existing SB A/C holders

Guys and Gals,

Today I opened an INDIE account ... App version: 1.1.36

Background: Currently I have the following relationships with IndusInd.
1) Exclusive Bank Account
2) Legend CC
3) Pinnacle CC
4) Fixed Deposit

Process:

After giving, mobile no, OTP, PAN, Aadhar and OTP again.. the account was created instantly in a jiffy ... Extremely smooth ..
No profile detials are required, No VKYC required.. it is showing KYC status as Verified...
Funded 50K via UPI... got Megastar immediately and Virtual DC generated immediately and ordered Physical Visa Signature card for free..

Observations:

1) My Indie account number is : 18 XXXXX XXXXX = my mobile number with 18 prefix. IFSC Code : INDB0000004
2) My Exclusive bank Account no: 15 XXXXX XXXXX = my mobile number qith 15 prefix . IFSC + my local branch
3) All my existing credit cards ( Legend, Pinnacle) are shown in Indie, surprisingly, it is showing an extra Pinnacle MC World Contactless CC as another CC
4) All my Fixed Deposits are shown in Indie..
5) Showing INDIE virtual DC
6) MISSING: My Exclusive account Visa, MC and Platinum DCs are not shown in Indie yet.. Probably they slowly migrate them into Indie at a later stage...
7) A Link to open the legacy IndusInd mobile APp

With this, my suspicion is turning into reality...

I think moving forward INDIE will be the face of IndusInd's technology..
the current IndusInd mobile will be slowly phased out ...

More importantly, the current Select, Exclusive account holders.. no need to worry about your accounts...
They will be kept as it is.. They wont be replaced with INDIE account.. They will be there...


The objective:
So , in effect I will have the following, in an ideal case scenario:

1) 0 AMB Exclusive Account
2) 0 AMB Indie Megastar Account
3) 2L Indie FD
4) Legend CC LTF
5) Pinnacle CC LTF
6) 3 Exclusive DCs - Visa, Master and Platinum - LTF
7) Indie Visa Signature DC - LTF

That's the plan.. Lets see how it pans out...

Thread 'Upgrade your Indie account to Megastar easily'

Indie users who have been downgraded from megastar to superstar/star can get upgraded easily. Follow these steps:

1. Call on +918071244777 from registered phone. This is their special number to get upgraded to megastar. (Normal customer care has no clue about upgrade and will say maintain 50k this month and next month upgrade will happen. So, don't call normal customer care number)
2. Mostly after calling this number they'll say number is busy and they'll call back.
3. They'll call you back same day within few hours and will ask for funding. Transfer balance to indie account to make...

One of my family members just tried opening indie account during initial funding page after the Payment of 50k.
App got refreshed and now indie is again asking for 50k to pay. What should he do in such case.

Money is already deducted.

If the payment isn't reflected it will probably be reversed and if not get in touch with CS.

And if the payment does reflect and you dont get upgraded you can call CS/relationship manager and tell them to upgrade.
There was also a special number mentioned (8071244777) in offers where you can call and get them to upgrade your tier

It's not going ahead to open account it's stuck on initial funding

for exclusive savings bank holder of the bank can we get the 0 amb indie megastar account has any one tried this one, customer care telling no possible as both are different for megastar 50k must as amb please guide and suggest not willing to block 50k for this.

Indie and other indusind accounts are different. You have to maintain separately in indie account.

I would suggest to get megastar by funding 50k and then you can withdraw after few days. Next quarter when you get downgrade then follow the next post.

Hi.

Did you ever apply for IPOs using Indie account UPI mandate? Any idea if it works? Customer care suggests against using it because it might have some issues as it is not "fully" enabled for that. Don't know what it means though.

I havne't done.. and I would not do it as it is not a full service account.. Others who might have used for this purpose, can chip in here.

When you open the Indie App, go to the Help and Support option and then click on FAQ's. You will find all the tncs regarding this offer as well.

Just spend with whatever Indusind CC like you do, doesn't have to be exclusively through the Indie app.

1 reward point = 1 gem, max 1000 a month, takes 90days to credit.
