IndusInd Grande for CC Bill Payment

I wanted to know if, just like the Indusind Exclusive/ Select Debit cards, can higher variants of Indusind debit cards e.g. Indusind Pioneer DB or the Indusind Grande DB, also fetch us CB and/ or rewards on payment of credit card bill using third party apps like Mobikwik/ Paytm?

One word: 'useless' 😀

If you have a Select or Exclusive account, simply use the cards associated with those accounts.

@4uziaul 😅. I am currently an exclusive account holder only. However, since Indusind allows one to maintain the MAB between multiple accounts, I have grouped all my family members savings accounts with me, and we collectively have more funds than MAB of Grande. So, I am thinking to upgrade, as by doing so, our locker rental will become free forever - which is a feature we would like (it would save me at least 5-7K per year). This account upgrade will also get me Grande DB LTF.

While all of this good, the upgrade will become useless if I am not able to earn CB/ rewards on CC bill payment with Grande, the way I am able to earn with Indusind Exclusive DB. Hence the query! 🤪

Here comes the math part, which I'm not very good at 🤣 If I'm wrong, I welcome others to correct me. You're thinking about ₹5-7k savings per year. But what about ₹1050 per card, per month, and per account? And don't forget, you get two cards that offer the same rewards, so multiply that by 2. 🤣

Now, add it up and think again before making any decisions.

By the way, my Relationship Manager (RM) pushed me a lot for this account, but I am content with my Select Account. He even mentioned that I would be the first person to hold this account in their branch, and they would honor me by allowing me to cut the ribbon. 🤣

Yes. So that is what I was asking. So, unlike Indusind Exclusive DB, Indusind Grande DB will not give returns <= 1050x2x12, for CC Bill payment, right?

🤣 Then you should definitely upgrade, at least up until the ribbon cutting ceremony 😂
