Infinia Infinia or Biz Black or both?

How to find out the direct branch landline or mobile numbers in Mumbai city centre?
The numbers I dial just send me an SMS to apply online

I have a lot of points on Air India for flights and Accor for hotels
Should I apply for Infinia card?
the best use of Infinia points is for air ticket booking on Smartbuy.

But I already have plenty of points on Air India.
I also have unlimited International and domestic lounge access with Magnus burgundy

Open infina and apply for floater biz black once infina reserve launches wait for spend cretria or etc and upgrade your infina both can become free if you full fill spend cretria.
I tried doing that but the RM refused saying that you are salaried and not eligible for Bizblack . Any tips to counter this ?

Should I apply for Infinia card?
BizBlack USP over Inifinia is only accelerated RPs on 5X categories. If you can spend 50K every statement cycle exclusively on one or more of those, then BizBlack should be considered; otherwise Infinia is better card any other way (higher reward and SmartBuy limits, better acceptance, ITC benefits,..), even with slightly higher fee (after considering BizBlack fee waiver criterion, which you have considered and calculated).

You forgot the main USP of this card. This is probably one of the few cards that gives reward on tax payments.

I am eligible for infinia based on ITR but I am wondering if I should apply for Infinia or Biz Black or both.

Infinia 14750 joining fee and renewal fee are compensated by 12500 points every year, which are best redeemed for air tickets
but I get 24% discount on all domestic and international air tickets using Magnus burgundy on traveledge, so I would value 12500 points at only Rs 9500.

So an expense of 5250 every year for --
unlimited International and domestic lounge access (I already have these)
1+1 ITC buffet.
2+1 night free ITC room (not worth it)
10000 Amazon pay with 12.71% return (around 10% after 24% discount)

Biz Black is definitely worth it if you have to pay a lot of tax.
1.5 lakh spends in the first 90 days will make it zero joining fee

are you meeting the basic 4 criteria?
  1. Salary: >42L (Please note ITR will not be counted if salaried only business people are considered via ITR route)
  2. Current Card: Regalia and above
  3. Current Limit: >8Lakhs
Spends: >8 Lakhs in last 6 months.

If not, approvals are required at BH which no RM/BM will go and get it done unless you buy shit investments like ULIP.

Catch is if you spend 1.5L in 90 days and card comes free you won't get 12500 points. Points are paid only when fee is paid.

Yes, it works on ITR portal, but you have to pay gateway charges.

I am new to bank, so number 2 and number 3 are not applicable.
I had to open a savings account with 5 lakh deposit.

Do you get 3.33% return for income tax on the income tax portal via HDFC gateway?

No reward points on tax payment on Infinia. Biz Black, of course, provides 16.5% reward on tax payments upto max 7500 per month as long as you spend at least 50k in that statement cycle.

ok but you didn't tell whether you will go via pay slip route or ITR route?
Pay slip route new criteria is 3L after taxes
ITR > 36L
5X rewards are capped at 7500/statement

yes, you will get 13.33% - PG charges if you spend min 50001 on tax payments every month. There is redemption cap also every time/month/quarter. Hope you have considered those as well

Have you gone ahead with 5L deposit option then? Or are you still thinking?

ITR route

There are no points for paying income tax using Infinia.
Biz black give points on 50000 to 56250 tax payment every month

BizBlack gives accelerated points between those amounts but also normal 1x points thereafter. Best for people who pay a large amount of advance tax like me.
