Nope. Even those who have LTF RG plastic, they are pushing them to get metal RG with fee.

I was getting spammed with Regalia LTF to Regalia Gold FYF upgrade offer since almost an year. In hdfc net banking it is clearly showing FYF upgrade, but today checked HDFC my cards. And this upgrade offer is very confusing one. It says "Annual fees are not applicable if your current card is LTF" and my current card is LTF. Anybody with similar experience? Pls share your story and final outcome.

UPDATE : 12th NOV 2024:
They issued FYF card after appying for this upgrade. but escalation to PNO resulted in to LTF conversion. 3-4 other TFinas were also able to convert their FYF in...

I was getting spammed with Regalia LTF to Regalia Gold FYF upgrade offer since almost an year. In hdfc net banking it is clearly showing FYF upgrade, but today checked HDFC my cards. Most lilkey it is not LTF

its FYF. But Dad has got BM as his RM and he is a cool guy and said that just ping him when the charges are billed and he will put request to refund them. Its a new branch and they have 3 good balance account from my family.

My family member had LTF Millenia with 5.1 L limit.
Got RG FYF upgrade...ignored for 2-3 times in a span of 8-9 months.... again got Paid RG upgrade, this time mailed to GR for making it LTF upgrade, they denied, so did not take the offer....after few weeks, got the offer for LTF RG.

The thing is usually they will not give what you want/ask......but will given when you dont want/are not asking for it.
There was no hurry in upgrading bcz LTF Millenia was far better than FYF RG (basis spends pattern)

No, it was a manual upgrade from millennia ltf to regalia gold ltf, normal 3 years of relationship with zero to 5k balance

Update : One cibil hard enquiry was done by them in July before approving the request.
