Is jio payment bank worth it as replacement of Paytm payment bank?

So I have multiple accounts for specific financial tasks and transactions but Paytm was the one for all types of linking, UPI , adding in all the apps etc, because I don't like to use my main accounts in every app.

Suppose i am going to try a new UPI app I add Paytm eyes closed no fear because I transfer money to Paytm as and when required.

Now it's not an option ( yeah I know about 29feb) so opting for an alternative. Is jio payment bank may be a substitute to Paytm bank?

How good is actually jio payment bank? Anyone using jio payment bank can share some valuable information for guidance...

Seedha SBI ka account lo. 0 balance hai and kabhi bust nhi hoga. RBI bhi SBI ke saath lenient rehta hai. 🤣

1. Account kholne ke liye kal ana padega...

will recommend opening Kotak811.
everything is free & u also get a virtual debit card.You get a proper alart & also have a net banking site..

JPB is also free, but have upi linkage problem (with bhim app), also no Debit card.. & customer care is good though.

Nowadays they are very restrictive about the serviceable area..
can't open account if you're aadhar address is different.

NSDL jiffy is also good for UPI linking. also gives virtual rupay plat card. zero bal and consolidated charge of Rs.5+GST/mth. But some have reported problems in opening.

I will advise people to look at full-time banks for new account opening, to prevent a repeat in future :

SBI (Insta plus a/c) -> fully online KYC process : 0 MAB + <200 DC charges/yr
Kotak (811 a/c) : fully online KYC process : 0 MAB, virtual DC is free, 250+ physical DC charges/yr if ordered.
AU bank (digital savings ac) : fully online KYC process : 0 MAB + 150+ DC charges/yr
BOB ( lite savings account) : fully online KYC process : 0 MAB + Free* LTF DC (if MAB of 3k/2k/1k is maintained, otherwise 200+ DC charges /yr)

In Jio App, can you add Rupay cards n other cards ?

I could add only bank accounts - but no option to add Cards.
