Jio Plan hike coming again?
1899 --> 2249?
I never got any credit adjustment even after 5-6 bills and several e-mails/calls confirming my main prepaid account balance that was about a ₹1000.Yes they do provide pro rata credit.
Me still waiting for that ₹10 plan someone posted😔😭View attachment 81420
Jio only calling plan launched. they have removed 189 and change the price of 479 to 458 with no data only calls.
TRAI trolled
Airtel upped 1999 Plan to 2249 with 30G data instead of 24G. Jio hasn't come up with replacement for 1899 plan.View attachment 81420

₹ 1 9 5 8 🙂Airtel upped 1999 Plan to 2249 with 30G data instead of 24G. Jio hasn't come up with replacement for 1899 plan.
My perspective is different, and I see this as a revaluation for airtel, especially the ₹2249 pack. Let me explain.Airtel upped 1999 Plan to 2249 with 30G data instead of 24G. Jio hasn't come up with replacement for 1899 plan.
But you can look at it otherwise also, like pay extra 250 for 6 gb additional data.My perspective is different, and I see this as a revaluation for airtel, especially the ₹2249 pack. Let me explain.
Both the ₹1999 and ₹2249 plans offer the same features (hellotunes, calls, sms etc.), except for the following:
Old Plan (₹1999 for 24GB): DISCONTINUED
-> ₹1999 ÷ 24GB = ~ ₹83.29 per GB.
New Plan (₹2249 for 30GB): ACTIVE
-> ₹2249 ÷ 30GB = ~ ₹74.97 per GB.
The cost per GB has decreased. Also, since airtel has removed the plans for data boosters with existing validity, this looks solid.
I disagree. Currently, there is only 1 plan with unlimited validity in airtel, which gives 1GB for ₹149.But you can look at it otherwise also, like pay extra 250 for 6 gb additional data.
I expected telecom operators to provide call only plan around 1000 - 1200. But they reduced less than 100. Trolling TRAI guidlines.
All those data only packs are valid for just 30 days. Once the 30 days expire, your data is gone. You'll end up paying much more once the original data from the ₹1899 plan expires.What if we recharge data validity plan when we already have an active plan in JIO?
Like we have 1899 / 1958 then if we recharge these plans instead of 139/69 whether the validity will be of one year or one/two month only? If it is one/two month then how we gonna prioritize the use of short validity data in jio?
When we get 6GB at 69 then why u r happy paying 250 for the same?I disagree. Currently, there is only 1 plan with unlimited validity in airtel, which gives 1GB for ₹149.
But here, I’m happy to pay ₹250 for 6GB with unlimited validity, which comes with the ₹2249 plan.
Paying ₹250 for 6GB makes more sense.
Then I must have to make my stock ready by recharging 139 / 69.All those data only packs are valid for just 30 days. Once the 30 days expire, your data is gone. You'll end up paying much more once the original data from the ₹1899 plan expires.
Which 69 pack are you talking about? There is no 69 pack in airtel. There is one 77 pack but it gives data for only 7 days, not the existing validity.When we get 6GB at 69 then why u r happy paying 250 for the same?
Yes, or go for plans which says "existing validity" they will follow your 1899 pack validity. So you can use the data whenever you need.Then I must have to make my stock ready by recharging 139 / 69.
I look at the price for these plans on validity perspective and not data perspective.I disagree. Currently, there is only 1 plan with unlimited validity in airtel, which gives 1GB for ₹149.

Yes, I get your perspective. But if you are opting for 1899 (jio) pack your motive is to use mobile data as less as possible and utilise that 24GB for the whole year.I look at the price for these plans on validity perspective and not data perspective.
That is the primary differentiator.
