Jio Recharge plan Hike

On MyJio app it doesn't allow to pay via any method if balance is not there in either Amazon Pay Money / Amazon GC.

I already tried this and you don't need to wait till Friday to check that. Initiate a txn today and selct APay wallet having zero or less balance then 479, it won't go to payment page and allow payment through any other modes and simply come back saying txn failed.

So having 5% using SBI Cashback or Millennia what I have been doing since long. I had bought many vouchers in 2021 at 5% discount. So price hike doesn't affect me till 2029.
I have checked it right now. It allows me to recharge via card through the linked Amazon wallet. It goes to the card details page. Today is not Friday; otherwise, I would have confirmed whether we can get the 100 offer benefit or not. Will check later.

It is showing card option for adding money in amazon wallet due to low balance. So rupay offer won't apply.

Maybe not. Because it didn't asked me to add specific amount. It directly reached to payment page after I clicked payment via credit/debit card. The payment for 479 exactly. I forgot whether this Amazon account is linked with UPI or not. Have to check that as well.

The linked account currently have '0' balance. It is my secondary account in Wife's name and don't have full kyc.

as per my experience twid payment option only show if the login jio no is same as twid no. so not possible to pay from any other twid no as indicated by someone

I'm getting from my family myjio app with their jio number. I can login twid using my mobile number.

Never redeemed with twid pay because for me cc always provide better %, so maybe user depends.

as mentioned payment option must show first to do other things.

You will understand what I'm saying on Friday. The offer won't apply. The card option was always there. It just adds the balance to amazon pay and subsequently deducts it for recharging your number.

1. What if someone pay directly 479 as recharge amount?
2. There is an option of paying using Amazon wallet. Don't know whether we can use rupay card in that case or not.
3. I am going to try similar option tomorrow if I don't get price protection plan.
Update us also
1. You can't pay custom amount. You can only select from listed plans.
2. That option is for using Amazon Pay Wallet balance for payment.
3. Do let us know after your experience.
Keeping my seat reserved here for updates.

P.S. i recharge 479 plan on jio app and pay using Amazon pay balance
Update:
1. Unable to buy JIO value plans (479/1899) directly using any reward points. tried with AU rewardz and SBI rewardz... its showing unable to proceed, pls. try later.
2. will check tomorrow (regarding amazon wallet Friday offer through jio-linked wallet method)
3. Price protection not applicable. later found out the t&c mentioned that the facility is upto 6 months of plan enrolment date. I did my last recharge more than a year ago.
---Now I have three possible option
1. try paying 479 through amazon wallet rupay offer if I am able to apply. (will test tomorrow)
2. recharge using AU rewards. I have about 45000 balance points. (at 20% discounted redemption than gift voucher). This better than using airtel-axis cc.
3. recharge through amazon with 899 for 90 days (Friday offer). (best value buy for 2gb/day +20GB extra)

Update:
I couldn't apply Amazon pay Friday offer because perhaps they have blocked all rupay debit cards on Friday. All Visa debit and credit cards are working. Only thing is... to pay via cards Amazon pay wallet balance should be nil otherwise it will automatically use the wallet balance.

When we put 16 digit rupay card then the payment interface is showing this card is not eligible use another card. No problem with visa.

By the way after waiting a day without recharge and in the process of finding least cost, I got 23 day free (promotional) jio 2.5gb/day voucher.
Do you have Wi-Fi access at your home and office?
