Kiwi(YES bank) Approved without any verification

I applied for the card on 16th September & expecting home verification. 2 Days gone but no one visited, So i stopped checking the status of the card, as i lost hope. Today i received a mail from kiwi saying “this is taking longer than expected we will reach yes bank & update you the status”. So i convinced myself that the application was rejected, to confirm the same i tracked the status via yes website, to my surprise they approved the card & said card will reach you within 5 days”.

I have got a weird problem with Kiwi yesbank card, my card got approved yesterday but I am not able to link my card with my upi. Neither able to link account with upi, it starts the process and then sms comes but in app it says timeout. Anyone experienced this?

Try after 48hrs ..

it actually got approved day before yesterday so its already more than 48 hours, is it my android device issue. I have verified the permissions for both call and sms. Is it not able to read the otp in sms I am not sure but I see otp coming from TMAXIS but it keeps on doing some loading stuff eventually saying timed out. (Only 3 tries within 24 hours)

uninstall old app & install again from play store this time allow all necessary permission. I suggest you try Monday usually many bank servers goes under maintenance during Saturday Sunday..

yeah earlier also gave all permissions, usually asks for call and sms. The thing is that app doesn't read otp from sms and keeps on loading and waiting. Will try again on Monday but I don't have lots of hope. What are my other options here?
 
try these

1.Uninstall Truecaller if you have in your phone (sometime truecaller sms blocklist causes issue) then reinstall the kiwi app and give all permissions which they ask to register for upi
or
2. try registering with only mobile data on (wifi off) because UPI app doesn't verify sim binding features sometime when wifi is on.

Thanks for your reply, I don't have truecaller on my phone. 2nd point I already tried. Other than that I tried to unload my second sim and install app again with my only sim which is registered with kiwi to see if it works but it didn't. My android runs a little older android, not sure if this is the reason but rest of upi apps phone pe, paytm works perfectly fine. Should I try to link my cc with upi using my friends device. Does the device also gets bind in this case?

In evening, I got message that they received my application and they will process within 10 days. It has a link. I opened the link, it shows status as 'In process'.

I am so confused, lol

I did drop a reconsideration mail. Should I tweet as well??

I have applied 3-4 days ago,after vkyc, received no mail,but can see the card in app,it has been approved but no sms/or email has been received by me😂
 
I got the card approved, I was able to know this because I got a mail from yes bank asking me to take loan on cc. They have not sent customer id and other login details, I linked the card on kiwi app, not able to see full card details as it’s asking yes bank mpin. The card was approved yesterday, a Saturday. Does yes bank send mails only on working days?

They should send.Me too has not received any mail till now.
But I know the customer id, call the customer care and ask them

When did you get the card approved. I got it approved yesterday I,e Saturday. Funny thing is I made transactions, got email and sms about debit from yes bank, received a call from yes bank for confirming transaction, even redeemed the kiwi points I got for transaction lol yet no mail about customer id. The customer care no of yes bank in kiwi app does not even recognise the input I give. I guess I will have to mail them, how did you find out the customer id?

By calling their customer care.
If they can't answer disconnect and call again.
There are few dumb ones
