Forget about 811 Super, even if you can get the normal 811 three times with the same name. That would be an achievement.

Even after opening 811, there’s no guarantee you can upgrade to 811 Super. It’s not for everyone.

Understood. I wasn't aware of that.
I was able to easily upgrade existing 811 of my 4 family members to super without any issues, and have opened my own 811 now. Would upgrade it to super in a month. That's why I was asking if I could get more 811 accounts on my own ID.

Your Aadhaar and PAN get linked to your account.

Some banks allow you to open multiple bank accounts (different product codes), but not with the same variant. For example, you can open HDFC saving max account and an salary account, but you cannot open two HDFC savings max accounts, as they are the same variant.

This creates confusion for the banks, and they usually avoid it.

Ok, that's what I should've asked then.
I've seen my father having more than 1 account in the same bank, but didn't knew that they couldn't be of same variant.
And you told me it's not possible as I want the same variant again.

It felt impractical to you as I wasn't aware of the info that same variant can't be opened again.
The only thing I knew was that I can hold 2 accounts in the same bank (didn't knew about variant issue) hence asked.

I understood your humor, but not of the other guy.

What is the issue you're facing with kotak bank?
In my case out of 4 accounts, 2 were being actively used, 1 was kinda dormant since beginning of the year except receiving a cheque payment, and 2nd one was dormant for 2-3 months only.
