Not just kotak 811 super, my friend also didn't get cb on amazon GV purchase from amazon using his hdfc swiggy card either & in both cases the GV amt wasn't even much (around 1k in 811 super case & around 5k in swiggy card case). Looks like many banks have started assigning a different mcc to GV purchases on amazon.
I don't know kotak has only exclusion list of mcc. Your friend should have got the cb for amazon.

I tried to open Kotak 811 super account online, but it was unsuccessful after Aadhar verification and got a message to visit branch for further processing. Anyone faced this issue?

I don't have hdfc Swiggy. But afaik, that card is not eligible for 5% rewards on agv purchase. I may be wrong, because I am not following that card.
HDFC swiggy card official T&C does say GV purchase not eligible for 5% cb but then hdfc millennia credit card T&C says the same but ppl still get 5% there so it all comes down to which mcc hdfc consider for GV purchase on amazon for a card & they clearly don't consider swiggy card for it but do consider millennia card for it (likely something to do with millennia being a core card vs swiggy being a co-branded card).

What will kotak do if amazon GV payment gateway itself has a mcc related to wallet/money transfer category? This is assuming kotak did not follow the example of HDFC above to assign wallet/unique mcc to amazon GV payment gateway on amazon.

I went to a gasoline station šŸ˜† to take out cash using card.
The guy was very happy because he didn’t have to carry so much cash, which can be risky.
There was an MDR charge of ₹88 on ₹10,000.
I told him to keep ₹100, and he got really happy!.
And Even asked me that i can cashout as much as I want šŸ˜† (charges de dena sir extra nahi chahiye kuch).

Hey, Can somebody help...
Kotak bank rejected my online kyc and asked me to visit branch but they at branch are not opening 811 super account. They are saying we open only normal accounts with 50k cheque and 10kMAB. I visited 3 branches, some in the branch says that this type of account opening is currently closed. How to get this accont?

What about fuel voucher purchase from park plus?
I only shared a handpicked list of merchants that I’ve personally blessed with my divine verification. Because clearly, I have nothing better to do than audit every single merchant in existence. And Park+? Oh, my bad—I don’t use it, so I guess it just doesn’t exist in the realm of legitimacy.

But hey, if you’re so desperate for validation, why not just throw some money at a transaction and wait like the rest of us peasants? It’s just a month of suspense—no big deal, right? So simple! So elegant! Problem solved. šŸ™„
