Simply sent 5000 to kotak 811 (not add money from app)
And did transaction using dc, will i get cb ?
Also the transaction was physicswallah pvt ltd !
Any ideas ?
If u sent 5000 from ur own account then nothing to worry. If from other's account then also 99.9% chance u will get. Baki k 0.1% kotak k marzi. Man karega toh dega, nehi toh nehi.

Mcc ka guarantee toh koy nehi de payga. Kotak Bank ke PNO ko khud nehi pata kya kya excluded hay... Sab backend team k varoshe hay.

So basically you deposited money in 811 account and then did DC txn na? Normal baat hai, why doubt? 5%CB is on DC txn and eligible mcc
 
Update on January month CB

Today finally the fight is over, after 1 month 6 days kotak PNO called and confirmed January CB to process by 30th April,

I have explicitly asked if it will be given to all customers who transacted on utility payments before new TnC, then they said NO

They will process to only those people who were reporting missing CB and continuously following up

And kotak PNO confirmed CB for my wife's account also

I have two super 811 accounts, unfortunately not received cashback for January month for both of them. I did CC bill payment from Unipay. Sadly wasted my 20k. One account did payment on 18th Jan and other did on 6th Jan.

Where can I report this? Any suggestions...

I have sent mail to kotak PNO about Jan month cashback, waiting for their response,

I got response from them today saying mcc was eligible for cashback in December month and in January month I made transaction on Unipay and they changed TnC so it is not eligible.

What is next we can do??

It's PNO, their practice is completely cheating, there policy must be clear at the time of transaction. After transaction they cannot deny rewards.

Cheating is cheating. They must be penalized for malpractices.

I'm seeking guidance on how we can take it to RBI ombudsman and consumer forum.

If the response itself is disputed then. If it's a case of cheating and case of malpractice then. They have responded and denied. It's not about 500 now. I don't want them to go easily after cheating and malpractice. Although I don't believe in our government institutions but I will put some efforts for own satisfaction.

I am awaiting their response, I sent email to pno@kotak.com on 5th March, can you send me email id of nodal officer
