Did you get a further confirmation call from Kotak - like verification etc? - got a call in the afternoon asking if my address mentioned is rented or owned and how long I'm staying there and how long I'm running my business and some other details.

I got the same response on Twitter. I am assuming they have kept LTF applications on hold intentionally.
@vaibhav111 Its been two weeks now. No call nothing received. What shall i do?

If vkyc wasn't done during application then they don't allow vkyc at a later stage and put it on hold. That my experience and few others also reported the same.
What was last email reply from them? And send them a on twitter and on email the template.

Nope no cibil hit after 3 cibil hit in a row hence it confirmed if your give any consent for applying through Kotak link send by sms/email and it generate Otp then surely cibil hit will be done.

Did someone mention the email where we can later mail to suppress the extra enquiries?
For suppress for extra query will provide the template once I get the card delivered and then email for confirmation for ltf then would send the email to Kotak and would share here too step by step would take appropriate action.
It was mentioned somewhere may be I missed it. Where did you noticed.
