People who recently got Kotak credit can't apply for new Kotak credit card as It's still showing old application number.

They are asking only for mobile number before it shows the page with the fees. So it is unlikely that CIBIL will hit. I think they are looking if the mobile number is registered with the bank.

I don't have any present relationship with the bank but used to hold a Kotak salary account and credit card for a short period some 15 years ago. I think that's why I am getting fees. New customers will probably get it LTF.

unfortunately they can still do a cibil hit by only entering mobile number. I have had this experience earlier...while entering mobile number you tick the check-box that mentions this in convoluted language which means your consent is automatically given for sharing data, credit bureau enquiry, etc. so tread carefully.

Yeah cause on basis of just mobile no, how could any bank could offer you anything In exchange. Now cibil hit message or actual cibil hit done by the bank for each user could be different.

Nope it not there. Even on email it say application is approved only. I didn't select anything though. Went through that link.

Yes it approved but have no clue on joining charges and waiting for clarity before proceeding with vkyc
