I'm using a Refurbished HP Elitebook 840 G6 for 4 years now. Built like a tank, never faced any issue. Also, parts are easily available online/offline and interchangeable across similar Probook/Elitebook models

Try that with an Acer/Asus/etc.

Although you have already finalized on what to buy.. Just want to mention that used Thinkpads and MacBookAirs that are used at IT companies are usually available at very cheap prices at these refurbished electronics item resellers in BLR. Good configurations, may be worn off battery though.

Well, they usually come with the Win Home installed by these resellers, but they can always be cleared and re-installed with whatever OS you want.
