Ongoing issues
(1)
For Non-BBPS CC billers (like Amex or SC), you cannot use SBI Unipay and most other apps. You can load Amazon wallet or payzapp wallet using debit cards which give points on Wallet load (like HDFC Millenia) and pay using the bill desk website. Alternatively, you can use cc issuer NEFT/UPI details as well.
Amex: https://www.americanexpress.com/in/...-statements-and-balance/making-a-payment.html
SC: https://www.sc.com/in/credit-cards/payment-option/

(2) HDFC Billpay service has changed it's MCC, so avoid using that. Use Unipay instead.
(3) Indus dc points are not regular, so will have to wait and still no guarantee that you will get the points or correct number of points.
(4): Some have reported idfc dc is blocked while account is active. You can complaint to idfc, it gets solved in 3-5 days.
(5) SBI Unipay does not allow to pay SBI CC bill when you are logged in for some users. So, dont login and you will be able to pay SBI CC bill.

How's the Navi app? Is it invasive with request to all types of permissions like the Bajaj Finance app? Does it access your credit reports? What information is required for sign-up?

Sorry, it's too many questions.
You can use it. I am using it to pay upi transaction and everything things good. Yes ypu can check the credit report as well.

Thanks, but, I am asking if the app has intrusive permission requirements like access to my credit report among others.

I do not want another party accessing my credit report as I already use a CIBIL subscription.

Hey Guys,

This is the first time I am using SBIUnipay, generally, I used to use Canara Setu but somehow payments are failing.
I tried with SBI Unipay & succeeded the payments. The Merchant name coming as SBIUNIPAYDBCard --> hoping this is expected to get 1% cashback.

@OptiCard Hi bro, Today SBI Unipay worked without any fail. If transaction is successful, how much amount did you pay. Why means I had CC due today. So tell me bro

Was paying my cc bill today and noticed Canara setu to show some different merchant name which stated Utility, so I cancelled the transaction and did on unipay.

I don't clearly remember merchant name, but I guess it was HDFC utility on canara setu.

Last month I paid SC CC bill using mobikwik (even when other apps were showing unavailable) but now it's showing not supported... Any other app where it is still showing available or only directly though bank?

Recently, I paid SC CC bill through their mobile app only, No other platform accepting SC . Even we paid through mobikwik, Cheq or any other it will get refunded through same mode. So only option is SC Mobile app or their website

I paid 20k bill twice yesterday via Unipay and it failed both times and the money got deducted from HDFC. Today, I can the reward points for both transactions. Are they going to reverse the reward points when Unipay refunds for the failed transactions?

No, most of the time they won’t reverse it. However, remember that this will count towards your monthly limit of 750 points.

Since you made two transactions of ₹20,000 each, totaling ₹40,000. For this, you will earn 400 points.

You are now left with 350 points.

For the rest of the month, any transaction above ₹35,000 will not earn you any points.
