Ongoing issues
(1)
For Non-BBPS CC billers (like Amex or SC), you cannot use SBI Unipay and most other apps. You can load Amazon wallet or payzapp wallet using debit cards which give points on Wallet load (like HDFC Millenia) and pay using the bill desk website. Alternatively, you can use cc issuer NEFT/UPI details as well.
Amex: https://www.americanexpress.com/in/...-statements-and-balance/making-a-payment.html
SC: https://www.sc.com/in/credit-cards/payment-option/

(2) HDFC Billpay service has changed it's MCC, so avoid using that. Use Unipay instead.
(3) Indus dc points are not regular, so will have to wait and still no guarantee that you will get the points or correct number of points.
(4): Some have reported idfc dc is blocked while account is active. You can complaint to idfc, it gets solved in 3-5 days.
(5) SBI Unipay does not allow to pay SBI CC bill when you are logged in for some users. So, dont login and you will be able to pay SBI CC bill.

No, most of the time they won’t reverse it. However, remember that this will count towards your monthly limit of 750 points.

Since you made two transactions of ₹20,000 each, totaling ₹40,000. For this, you will earn 400 points.

You are now left with 350 points.

For the rest of the month, any transaction above ₹35,000 will not earn you any points.
Thanks for the Insight! I don't have any more credit card bills to pay for the month 🙂
Using Unipay is advantageous when transaction fails in a way. You get 750 extra points for the hassle of waiting for the refund of failed bill payments.

It is scary as well, no dedicated customer support whatsoever. We have to escalate it through other channels.

You mean for unipay?
Yes
Also does unipay allow custom amount to be paid before bill generation?
This depends on bank, not portals.

For example, SBI allows you to edit the amount and you can pay it multiple times without any issues.

However, HDFC doesn't let you pay any excess amount.

You can edit the amount in all the websites, but you cannot pay it multiple times. There are only few exceptions.

If you want to view transaction history on Unipay, follow the below steps:

Click on 3 lines top right corner of SBI Unipay website and then customer support.
Enter the mobile number you give for communication and you will see all the transactions and their status during last 6 months, you can also submit a complaint from there which generally gets a revert back from their support team.
