I had been paying CC bills using UPI and the payments have been almost instant. It gets credited within a few minuts - less than an hour.
Last month I got HDFC Platinum card and I realized that I can get 1% cb upto Rs 750 if I pay using the card.

Now, if I use SBI Unipay and HDFC DC to pay the bill, how long does it take to reflect the payment? I have seen that in many cases, the payment fails and the amount gets returned.
I had read in some thread that the safe way is to pay on a working day during office hours (somewhere between 10 am - 4 pm)
Also, it looks like it will take 2-3 days to reflect the payment. Is that right? Trying not to run into last-minute problems since this is my first time paying using DC.

I am also new to unipay. Have paid a few bills. Never failed. Use desktop login. Working day office time better. Pay in tranches. Payment mostly instant. Give atleast 5 working days backup. If transaction reversed during settlement then u can repay again. (Somehow u will get compensated if reversal happened) IYKYK type. Cashback won't reverse. But you should have time and money to pay back in short notice.
* In 95% cases payment won't fail/ reverse if the amount is small. (Below 20k per transaction).
I generally used Airtel Thanks now it's in comma. Let it recover. Till then Unipay Zindabad.

I have paid almost 3-4L worth bills via unipay, have had failure only once, and I always pay full amount, never had any problems

My experience with SBI Unipay has been very good. I never followed any such timings and I don't remember any transaction ever getting failed or being reversed. Almost all the banks reflect the transaction immediately. It might take 2-3 days to settle but I get the SMS for amount credited almost within 2-3 mins and at max 20 mins.
