Common misunderstanding among many users, just because one bank considers a particular merchant as certain MCC then it doesn't always necessarily mean other banks will do the same. Yes the website/merchant in question applies for a MCC but it is not something written in stone that banks will always have to consider that MCC only. It is not instant discount so banks can always use their "discretion" to later consider MCC as some other MCC if they decide to do it at the time of giving points/cb.
