Just now called Indie CC and asked for MCC Code.

MCC Code for Canara Setu is now changed to 6012.

Called them. They don't show any details on app or website.

Do a txn. Then call Customer care and ask them merchant code (Terminal ID) of that txn. They will ask you date and amount after verifying you and your ac/ debit card last four digit.
Thats the process i follow.

@Abhishek012 do you know if the idfc first tap limit resets every 24 hours or 12 am?

check your Firstap limit and increase the limit.

max 1 lakh per day limit.

I think yes because Billdesk ka MCC Code bhi 6012 he hai shayad and we get reward points on billdesk cc bill payment too.

Nope, Physical DC isn't required. You can get VDC without any DC present in the account.

Few days back some one said they were not able to get VDC as they have closed their physical card.

Now RuPay transaction also getting "Canara Bank" merchant name. 🤣🤣

IDFC RuPay users now use Phonepe app only or i think Freecharge also eligible but not verified yet.

As I predicted few weeks back, now most will move CC bill payments to 6012.

Canara Setu is dead as MCC changed from 5311 to 6012 now. Millennia userss don't do txn on it as 6012 is in exclusion list for Millennia. Same with IDFC DC as 6012 is excluded. 🙁

SBI DC has 4-5 options alive so no matter where you pay from you will get 0.25% to 1% (TnC apply). But in case they exclude 6012 in coming days then it will be last nail in coffin.
