With effect from May 01, 2024, Current Account Customers would get 1 % Monthly Cash Back as Vouchers (max upto INR 1,000) on minimum monthly spends of INR 25,000 on POS/Online Payments.
I have savings. I got the notification for 25k

Another alternative platform for bill pay: Dhani Pay

Btw, PNB card is not listed anywhere in SBI Unipay or Dhani Pay. Any other alternative for PNB card with Utility MCC? I want to utilise the RBL DC since the amount is high. Can we use RBL DC in HDFC Bill pay?

Thanks for sharing. Does dhani pay require any registration(apart from phone number) before making cc Bill payment?

Also, you cannot use any other dc on hdfc bill pay apart from hdfc. But will inform you if I get to know any alternative for rbl dc.

Dhani pay requires Aadhar based ekyc before you attempt to use cc payment.

There are non bbps cards too but I wasn't able to pay using dc as it kept showing some error.

Thanks for sharing. Good to know there are non-bbps cc available. I know some users have kyc already done due to past offers/tricks.
I cannot verify whether Dhani Pay has utility mcc or not. Payments are still not going through. (Throwing up an error saying that card payments are temporarily down)

Strangely it doesn't seem to accept MC debit cards (Tried IndusInd MC exclusive and SBI MC) says that the card number belongs to a credit card.

Indie visa signature debit card also returns the same error.

Hence I request @sm9811911 to kindly take Dhani Pay down from the OP till it is confirmed to be working

Dont worry, I have added disclaimer.

Most of you know the debit cards which are useful, but it’s difficult to keep track of which platforms to use, how to use because of devaluations/ limits.
I had written down current working methods for my personal use but thought of sharing with the community. Will appreciate any feedback. So here goes:

1) RBL signature plus dc: sbi unipay
1b) RBL Enterprise dc: sbi unipay
2) HDFC PLATINUM debit card: can be used on hdfc bill pay and sbi unipay
3)HDFC Millennia debit card: can be used to load Amazon wallets for 1%. Can use hdfc bill pay for 2.5%
4) indus visa signature, visa platinum and mastercard world : Use paytm and cred (Dreamplug Paytech merchant) for visa variants. Sbi unipay and Cheq(not working for some mcc) for mastercard variant.
5) FI money ( infinity or salary variant) : pay 1.5k multiple times through cred using fi upi.
6) IDFC Debit cards: Pay cc bill using sbi unipay.
7) Axis Liberty dc : pay cc through sbi unipay for qtly voucher. Can use upi as well anywhere; no exclusions using upi. Bonus tip: Use axis gyftr portal / amazon to buy amazon gv from Liberty dc for weekend cashback.

Posting in public as more feedback is required on what’s working and what’s not for everyone’s benefit.

SBI Unipay is working for most, some are reporting failures. Try with small amount first.

Update: Alternative to SBI unipay: Sriram one app (but only has bbps cc)

Update 2: P B R G and thomasjackson mentioned even Dhani Pay has utility MCC (so an alternative to SBI Unipay). Non-BBPS cc can be paid. But KYC required. (havent tried myself)
good thread.... looking at it... I might have to get RBL or Indus DC soon
