But I earned reward points for credit card bill payments in the Jio Finance app using my Indus Select Signature and Platinum VISA debit card last month.

Payment to non BBPS Billers (like Amex, SC, etc) are failing on Hdfc bill pay, SBI Unipay and other bbps platforms since 5th August. This is likely due to RBI instructions for all cc billers to come onboard the BBPS system.
Almost all cc companies have enabled bbps. Few exceptions currently include Amex, SC. Until they enable BBPS, you can try to pay their cc bills using cred/mobikwik or their upi id or neft. See the thread below for details of upi id and neft. Please try with minimum amount first.
So all the credit cards(icici, idfc, amex, axis) are removed from the hdfc billers list in the portal. Is it the end of HDFC Bill pay cashback or I have to add the cards again to pay the bills?
