Life Time Free (LTF) HDFC Pixel Play Credit Card

Today in my payzapp app i found banner mentioning life time free hdfc pixel card and applied. I got the card but how to check if my card is lifetime free or not. Anyone else got the offer?

Edit: finally received the reply from payzapp support and they said i am eligible for life time free card.

Is the Pixel card not usable until physical card is actually delivered? I have set the PIN, UPI PIN for RuPay and turned on channels & set limits to max. Yet all txns failing. Have gotten the card number and everything but all txns failing. Card was generated/approved on 4 days ago.

Can be used before delivery

I started using pixel immediately for UPI transactions before its delivery.

Only thing deterring me else I'd get it for smart Bazaar benefits on shared limit even

I am using it mostly for reliance smart...you need to swipe the card for 5%, for UPI only 1% only...

Yes, if you have a better card, no need of this...I don't have any rupay and as it's LTF I have taken it

Reliance SmartBazaar is the only offline merchant I think from all of their packs (and it's a good thing it gives rewards on this). But strangely enough, it doesn't give 5% on "online" Reliance Smart Bazaar items from Jiomart. But gives on offline! All other merchants are online and it is touted as an all-digital card.

I don't know about Smart Bazaar coupons but a couple of times I bought Trends coupons from Amazon. You can give a try.

Did anyone get issued completely DEAD Pixel credit cards? My cards were issued lifetime free on Visa and RuPay but ever since the card was generated, I am not able to do a single transaction using my Pixel Play Visa and RuPay credit cards on any merchant website. Not even UPI is working. There is no response from PayZapp team despite raising a ticket in PayZapp app. Only once some halfwits in the PayZapp app from the Pixel card team said "Uninstall and reinstall PayZapp" 🙄 As if uninstalling an app is going to fix broken card transactions.

After a lot of searching, I came across this Reddit post:

Which is the exact same problem as mine. Card issued but in dead form, unable to use. Just like that user, I activated it, set usage limit, PIN, enabled online transaction everything, still I'm not able to use it for any transactions.

And the halfwits in PayZapp app keep saying "Send us description of problem" or "Uninstall and reinstall PayZapp." I think even a robot may have higher IQ than the Pixel team halfwits. This is absolutely the lowest quality utter trash product that has come out of HDFC Bank. I've never seen a credit card launched without completely missing customer service.

To make things worse, for Pixel card reissuance the fraud idiots take ₹100+GST charges. I am afraid if I block and reissue the card myself from PayZapp, these frauds will take ₹118 for both cards. And then to reverse any charges, they will disappear and refuse any kind of customer service. The biggest problem is lack of any decent human support for this card. With only robots or humans for assistance but with an IQ lower than a robot plus lacking basic English comprehension skills, this card and its customers are doomed.

I am also facing the same issue. It's almost a scam what's use is this, if I can't use while paying kn 5 percent apps. I habe selected uber MakeMyTrip amazon nykaa and Myntra and I have tried paying on 3 of them and it says it not even supported fir this merchant

It need to be setup with backend systems, which is slow for few users so wait for few more days

No that's made up and incorrect. People were able to use it instantly as soon as it was generated. There is no "set up" required. My card was generated over 10 days ago. There is some flaw in HDFC's cards, some of them when generated are dead as is clear from that other Reddit user's post. They need to be reissued with new numbers then they instantly start working. Only in my case I want to get it in writing that reissuance fees of 100+GST won't be taken otherwise I will drag them to RBI and demand severe harassment compensation.😆

That is what I said in my case I was not able to setup the PIN when I raised a ticket they said that is a know issue few users are facing it. Later I setup PIN through other means and started using the card. If it works it works or else it messed up. Even their team is unable to fix it.

So you have both Visa physical and RuPay virtual? and you used Visa for 5%?
