Yes they have been saying the same thing but when I pushed for misselling the product, they have disappeared. But I am pretty sure its LTF, its just that customer care is not aware of it yet.
Oh wow, so either all this was a hoax(That’s highly unlikely considering the official documentation imn this thread or the email team is poorly informed.)

I talked to few card executives here in Pune as per them the campaign was there to issue LTF Eterna card but the freecode is not yet updated in their system, so even if they apply the card now it will be paid only unless the freecode is getting applied during the application process.
Got it. Then probably the ones who applied for cards applied for people regardless of that code getting applied.

Keep it. But don't activate. They will call you asking you to activate. Tell them you applied for LTF under the offer but it was issued as paid. They may change it to LTF. If not, never activate. It will automatically be cancelled if you don't activate within 30 days.
