I was chasing bob Card's support team to get my Premier (LTF) upgraded to Eterna (LTF) and I was even told that they would consider but reply over email was very different from what I was conveyed over call.

So, today, I've closed the Premier CC ... I'm told that card closure would take 7 working days and PAN removal should take 5 working days ... so, it's safe to email about PAN removal after 5-6 days ... so that post card closure, PAN removal happens as early as possible and after all of this, I can apply for Eterna (LTF).

I didn't ask about relation between PAN removal and statement generation date because I just can't rely on what the customer support representative's say. Need your help peeps on this one. I really don't want that my application is rejected on stupid grounds like PAN wasn't removed and I applied for Eterna or any other such reason. Is there anyone who can get this check done internally whether PAN is still there in bobcard's system or not? That would help at least before applying.

From my understanding
1. Card is closed
2. Wait for next bill to be generated
3. Post that send a mail for PAN removal
4. After PAN removed wait for 2-3 days & then apply.

is it complusory that PAN gets removed only after statement generation date ends?

also, offline application via agent is the only way to apply (for those who closed their card) or I can apply online as well?

I applied BOB eterna offine. Received physical card. No mentioning of LTF in the welcome kit. i mailed to customer care to confirm whether my card is LTF or not. no response. Mailed to escalations@bobcard.co.in. They confirmed that my issued card is LTF over email. Now i can happily activate my card.

yes PAN can be removed only after statement generation. They mentioned this on email to me.
You can apply online as well but I went offline.

Quick Question, i received the verification call and yesterday received a message about being approved. How much time does it take to see or know the card number, anyway to confirm with card and variant got approved. Had applied for eterna ltf rupay offline

Just wondering, Is this because they still need to generate the final statement as per the billing cycle and they need to keep the PAN data to generate bill.
