Made a mistake with Amazon US gift card 😅 — any ideas what I can do with it?

So, I recently got an Amazon US gift card worth $25 and went ahead and redeemed it in my Amazon.com (US) account… only to realize later that I can’t use it on Amazon India 😑

Now I’m kind of stuck — the balance is sitting there in my US account.
I was thinking maybe someone who shops on Amazon US might want to use it? I could share access to my account and offer it at around 20% off or something just to recover most of it.

Has anyone here faced this situation before? Any better way to deal with this or anyone interested in using it?

Have you tried contacting amazon support? You could ask them to convert it to your INR account, no harm in trying.

Don’t bother with customer care chat on the app, they are the most dumb once. Instead, send a direct message on X and ask them to “share a link for social media chat"

If they ask why, just tell them that you are unable to get a human response through the app and that your query is regarding your amazon pay balance (usa to inr conversion)

You can also try buying some gift card from your amazon US account, which works internationally.

Like google play voucher.

I am stuck with $100 that I added some years ago. I just checked, and one can't buy other gift cards with it.
