Just received my first OGS with 10.8lac balance maintained. Confirmed through call and I am not a true burgundy🫠 Will start conversation with RM & branch head from Monday on this

Guys need a little help
Last month I opened Axis Priority Salary account online for salary credits ~1.5 lac.
Today I visited my home branch for atlas.
Credit card agent told me about few basic things and took me to BM.
BM just asked me about salary and said she will get some approval and upgrade my account to burgundy Salary. (I was surprised and forgot that i was there for atlas LTF 😅)

When I asked about Atlas they said it will be paid and I can get select LTF with burgundy.
I didn’t ask for Magnus thinking let them first get the approvals then will talk.

Now after going through few threads got some doubts got resolved but some new doubts got added 😅

Shall i proceed with account upgrade to burgundy if i want to continue my banking relationship with AXIS (although shit but still)
Will there be any hidden charges if I continue to receive my salary(~1.5lac) in burgundy (maybe bcz not true burgundy)

Would I be able to get magnus for burgundy LTF from them?

Would I able to get Atlas LTF? (With burgundy upgrade or without upgrade to burgundy)

Preference is for Atlas bcz I don’t have large annual spends on CC.

Any other suggestion.(sorry for long post)

I am yet to receive nor able to download. I accidently met my Branch Manager today evening and he said I need not call the customer care. He will get it done once the OGS is generated. Basically, what iam telling is that you can get it done via your RM ;-)

Called the customer care after receiving the OGS. They said while I'm eligible, the application for new card needs to be initiated by the RM. Only upgrade from old Magnus can be done through customer care apparently.

Will check with my RM on Monday.

The branch official is correct. Only Select is LTF with Burgundy.

I have burgundy account and they denied LTF Atlas. Atlas will be given LTF based on salary criteria and the affiliate between your company and Axis. Only for those company employees. Check with your RM.

Coming to Burgundy conversion, for True burgundy you need 3L+ net salary credit. Unfortunately you won't be eligible M4B through salary criteria.
If you keep 10L in savings for 3 months (AQB) you'll be eligible for a paid M4B as the LTF offer ends this month.
I'd say just go with paid Atlas if your spends are less. You'll get 5000 points as joining bonus which is pretty decent and can get you 2 night stay in Grand Mercure or 1 night stay in some ITC hotels etc depending on where you transfer.

There is no generic offer of Atlas LTF for anyone.. if ppl have got it, it might be an exception.. normally if you are burgundy u get select LtF and now if you are burgundy fulfilling salary or trv or aqb criteria u get both select and magnus Burgundy Ltf.. there is nothing like Atlas being Ltf for burgundy

Anyways as already pointed out in above msg, paying atlas fees is more beneficial in terms of welcome miles instead of getting it Ltf

Atlas paid is beneficial only in the first year as the welcome benefit is only one time thing
