Mobile recharge price hike by 25% - (just a hunch/speculation it not hiked yet or may never hiked as much as 25%)

Ear

Earlier when I used Airtel Postpaid bill was increased but it was not immediately after tariff hike
I am on airtel postpaid for last 11 years. In all these years, as per my observation, airtel never changed plans for existing postpaid customers, except only 1 time for 1 plan., where they reduced the plan benefits. I am still on a plan taken in 2017 that is no longer available for new activation.

Sorry I don't understand. Isn't this usual message after stacking? Am I missing something?
but this is first time I saw these kind of emails..
Probably I never noticed them or they are sending it recently..
It clearly says it is in queue .. and I doubt whether Airtel is doing this..

I actually receive the exact same text as SMS after I stack since years. Email not given to jio so no email for me.

Jio is better than competition in the following ways (purely my own opinion):

1. More transparent about charges
2. Voice call quality is better. Even though I used voLTE of other companies, I found clarity is better with jio. Though this might vary from area to area.
3. Free incoming calls and sms without recharge, unlike other companies with grace period of only 7 days.
4. The biggest problem with competition is that calls and sms are not truly free. Calls to 1860 numbers and sms to 5wxyz numbers are not free with any operator except jio. One has to recharge topups on top of existing plans.

Sounds good. I wasn’t aware of this because I started using postpaid 6 months back. Let me check my next bill.

Thank u guys
Stacked jio for unlimited 5g till 2026 lol since current pack expires feb 25 then 336 days from there
Got sms confirmation too:
Your recharged plan Rs 2545-12m-1.5GB/D for Jio Number 1234567890 is currently in queue as you already have an active plan. Your recharged plan will automatically get activated after expiry of your current plan. You can also activate your queued plan by dialing 19914 or by clicking www.jio.com/my_plans

This is how Jio robs customer. Jio tells white lies that they put customer first. Jio has increased tariffs, effective within few days. Then Jio removed two tariff plans which gives most value (395 and 1559) so that customers don't do advance recharge. Even with so much money, Jio is only greedy for more money.

Human greed will never be satisfied 😡
This is how Airtel fools all customers. First, Airtel hiked tariff price, effective in a few days. Then Airtel messages all customers to recharge long-term plans to save money. Thus, Airtel will earn huge money from highest MRP plans (2999) within a short period of time.
😡
We were expecting 5G plans but Airtel Jio wanted to fool customers with unlimited 5G data. All customers were made addicted to free 5G data. Instead of raising tariff, unlimited 5G data will be now available only on 2GB per day plan and above. This is called decoy effect. Customers with 1.5 GB plans will feel with 2 GB data plan is giving unlimited 5G. Its indirectly 5G plan masked as unlimited 5G.

Saw this banner on Airtel Thanks App

Airtel themselves are promoting to recharge now so that they book a customer for atleast one year and maintain their subscriber base.
