Moving account to Axis : Burgundy account assistance

Hello

My salary account is with HDFC and am holding a DCB. Salary credit per month is 2.6 L and I just connected with my Wife's RM from Axis and asked if I can get Burgundy account and ATLAS CC LTF, if I shift my sal to Axis.

He said ATLAS LTF offer is not running currently and I have to pay 5k fee, the default SELECT CC would be LTF, which am not interested in.
Also since I do not have an account with Axis, he told to open a Prestige account (75 K initial deposit and then withdraw it once next month sal gets credited) and once my next salary gets credited in Axis, he will change it to Burgundy with approval.
I have talked to him multiple times and seemed like a genuine guy, he has helped in many things earlier also.

Should I go for this, or should I stay with HDFC and push for Infinia along with upgrade to Imperia. It needs 3L per month salary credit right? Will I get a waiver?

HDFC is still your best bet. The issue you faced was personnel issue and not a bank product issue. I'd probably has escalated to BM first, a lot of problems gets solved there itself. If that didn't help I would have requested change of RM (explaining the fraud practice) in written to the central team.

HDFC has its problems but it's the best out there for now. Unless you get lucky and got an excellent RM or very very rich.

Why is hdfc the best? If someone has dcb already, what else has hdfc to offer that others like axis don’t
