Infinia My Infinia CC journey in January 2025

Hi friends,

I just wanted to post my Infinia CC journey here to help others on the same boat.

Little bit of my financial context first,
I have 3.5 lakhs of net (after tax deduction) monthly income being credit to my HDFC salary account.
I had Regalia Gold CC on which I had more than 9 lakhs spends in last 6 months and 12.3 lakhs credit limit.

I started my journey in January 2025 when got interested in Infinia CC and got to know about this incredible forum.
By going through the suggestions in the forum I tried first directly mailing the HDFC Grievance department where the case was closed after asking for salary details. Though I tried explaining about my spends.

Then I was suggested by my RM and a HDFC branch Credit Card person to fill the upgrade form and submit directly in branch from where it will go to Chennai office. I also got to know that few people in this forum got it this way as well. So I just followed the same and in 7 days my Infinia CC was approved and delivered.

I also got pre approved Infinia credit card last week and i applied directly through the expreesway hdfc portal, it has been approved now just waiting for the card to get delivered, Has been holding salary account with HDFC since last 5 years or so, very excited for this as my application has been rejected on couple of occasions due to WFH and home and office address in different place, at last got what i wanted , no previous card relationship with HDFC as i always wanted Infinia only.

My company is not registered in india as far as i know and i am paid through third party, but i am eligible as per the salary criteria will i be able to join HSBC?

The 3L salary credit will enable eligibility for Premier account and free Premier CC issuance. But, I am a bit hesitant because they have called out 20K fee for not maintaining TRV of 40L. Anyone with experience on this.

Please note: an annual fee of INR20,000 will apply for your Premier credit card if you don't maintain a Total Relationship Balance (TRB) of INR4,000,000 in India, or if your HSBC Home loan outstanding balance is below INR11,500,000.

You are actually right. I moved away from hdfc salary account and then only I got infinia.i was sending mails when it was salaried account and was mentioning it ...but they rejected every single time. After significant spends they gave infinia.

Both are not related to each other..

I moved to kotak privy black as they offered taj epicure with night in taj. Also just with premium of Rs 1000 they were offering health insurance cover of 30L for full family. (Spouse and kids only)

My company has No tie up with hsbc, will that still work ?

40L TRV or 3L SALARY credit , the CC will stay LTF conditional to “any” one criteria fulfilled

@Player456 Bro is Rental spends are considered for spend criteria? I've 10 Lakhs credit limit with average spends on other category. I wanted to upgrade Infinia, now they are asking salary slip. Which is not meeting criteria.
