Need Advice-Card Portfolio and Swiggy card!!

Hey Everyone,

I need advice on 3 seperate things!

1. HDFC Swiggy Card-
As noted in my earlier post, I had applied the card as LTF basis the false lead by Credit(not so credible) and I have less than 4 days to activate the card else it becomes inactive. What should I do? I have been going back and forth for sometime now with grievance redressal and it has yielded no result. Should I activate the card and right it out? Or wait patiently for the card to be replaced by a card offer with LTF terms( barring the disappointment of credit check)?

2.DCP vs Millenia -
I have Millenia and SBI Cashback card and with Swiggy in my stable (might or might not), I thought of switching up my Millenia to DCP( as a more generalist card with appealing benifit of Intnl lounge and progress towards DCB). I currently have a standing offer of FYF for DCP. Should I snatch it in exchange for LTF Millenia?

3. Suggestions -
Any other suggestions of generalist card that I can and should consider? I have decent salary and my expenses aren't much( it averages out 10k in shopping, Maximum fuel expense of 3-4k, misc expenses of 2-5k and about 15k for a gold plan). I was considering amex but at current spends it doesn't make sense to me. I have UPI cards (kiwi and onecc) as well covered. I don't want to pivot to axis stable as it seems to complex for me. Any other suggestion are welcome!!

Thanks!!

Decent salary means ?

If you really need the Swiggy card, go ahead and activate it now and use it for a few months, and then try to get it converted to LTF (Lifetime Free) or wait, as HDFC might roll out LTF offers again like last year. Keep an eye on the Swiggy app and HDFC website for updates.

The DCP card isn’t accepted everywhere, so it’s wise to have a backup card. If you travel internationally or want lounge access, DCP may makes sense, they have movie ticket offers. Alternatively, you could consider the Regalia card if your income criteria meets it.

Also, what is your primary goal — cashback, rewards, or something else?
