Which Rupay card should I go for?

agentbond

TF Buzz
I have been looking for a good Rupay credit card. As my UPI spends are not much I don't want a card with annual fees as I am already paying annual fees for the SBI CB card. Usually all my spends are done by credit cards so I just want a Rupay Card to pay on places which don't accept credit cards or ask for extra amount to use credit card.

I have 3 options after looking the rewards.
1. Axis KIWI (but they have stopped issuing new cards now)
2. IndusInd Rupay Card
3. ICICI Coral Rupay Card

I already have ICICI Platinum, Axis Flipkart and SBI CB card, ICICI is giving Coral LTF but it will have shared limit and my current ICICI limit is 1L and I don't want it to be shared as it can affect the utilisation ratio and IndusInd I have read that don't give more than 1 card so everyone suggests to get a card like Legend and then get a rupay card, but currently I have no use of that credit card.

Should I apply directly for IndusInd rupay card?
Or is there any news about Axis KIWI Card when they again going to start issuing new cards

Take indusind legend or any card in visa or Mastercard variant of IndusInd bank as LTF, they will give u a floater rupay card ( bcs IndusInd generally give only one card)

In my opinion, ICICI is below avg and IndusInd is okay in general terms, but very good if you're interested in accumulating CV points.
Otherwise, take BOB Snapdeal.

It indeed has a fee, but its minimal and easily recoverable in practical terms. Some people have also got it LTF.

It has good 1% upto 125 on UPI, so UPI spends upto 12500 are covered, which is a fair limit imo.
On regular online Txns and offline grocery/departmental store purchases, you get 2.5%, which is not so bad either.

Check this amazing compilation for reference:

Not sure if it helps you.
A few of the top upi cards rn
1) Tata Neu
2) Kotak Myntra

Jupiter Edge CSB is decent LTF card in my opinion. If you didn't get any LTF options. I choose shopping for 2% reward. Sometimes even for small paytm merchant it's giving 2%.

What is your utilisation ratio in ICICI card? Unlike IndusInd, ICICI Coral will share your entire credit limit of ICICI.

So, since you have 1L limit in other ICICI card, Coral will share that limit as well, but you can use total of 1L together. You won't even get a separate statement for Coral Rupay...

In case of IndusInd, if you have a Legand card with a limit of say 3L and you applied for Rupay, then they will allow you to allocate some limit for Rupay Card (upto max 1L). Then, you will have 2L for Legend and 1L for Rupay. So, that will affect the utilisation ratio for both cards. You'll get separate statement for both cards.

So, I would suggest getting for ICICI Coral as that will help you to use a flexible limit. Also, regular usage of ICICI card will ensure that you'll get quicker limit upgrade offer from ICICI.

Disc: I have all the three types of Rupay card you listed.

Yes that's my question is should I get any other IndusInd card because I have no use and mostly the IndusInd cards are not that rewarding.

I like this attitude of getting everything ltf
Keep going boi

@SSV why suggest kotak 😂
They are banned 🚫
Hey man, I already have 2 paid cards, if I don't have much use of a thing and there are LTF alternatives available why I go for a paid one. It would be wrong if I am asking to get a paid thing for free.

I like your attitude of not reading the whole thing and ignorant attitude.
Keep going boi
