Regalia Gold Need help on way forward for upgradation of card

Hi,

I presently hold LTF Regalia Gold credit card and wanted to upgrade to DCB Plastic/Metal (LTF). So I have sent a mail to L1 of escalation matrix to customerservices.cards@hdfcbank.com. I have received the attached response from them to send physical documents to Chennai office which I'm fine to do. However, in the middle of mail they have written that "We wish to inform you that currently all cards are chargeable."

Due to this, I'm in dilemma whether I should first send the documents to Chennai office or straight escalate to L2 which is escalation.cc@hdfcbank.com.

For everyone's information, I have spend more than 7.5 lakhs last card year and have a credit limit of 6.5 lakhs presently.

Anyone's help is highly appreciated.

I haven't seen any HDFC cards being issued as LTF in super premium category (Infinia, DCB, Biz Black) in 2025 by any type of sourcing.

With required revenue/income along with GST you can also get it.

Have all that, but did you do this via floater form from hdfc branch and sending it to chennai?

Through credit card sales guy in branch, didn't send anything to chennai
