I had applied for this card in mid Sep. It was rejected within a week even though I already have SimplyClick. Today, after 3 months I got a rejection email stating that I need to a bank account and FD with bank to get the card. I already have a car loan and bank account with SBI. I think their CC department is high on something.

there is no breakdown of each txn. You can track on your own. You can know category of txn from spend analyzer.

I got to know ultimately. You can call customer care and ask for points received on each date. There is no direct 5% category. You will receive separate 1 and 4% on the same transaction separately. Only customer care agent can tell

Overall we can’t know from statements
However if u want to test a particular spending pls mark the cb amount of the month then spend and post 2 days check the new cb amount the difference is that we got for last spending

Depends on which platform you are using and mcc code of that platform. Which app/platform are you using for school fee payment? Probably Paytm gives 5%.

They gave some cashback which is not valid like instead of 1% they gave 5% which they’re recovering now
It’s like RPs get reversed in other bank cards if we get excess points or wrong credit of points by bank

Thank you for your quick response. I am highly disappointed with SBI Cashback Credit card. They gave me around 1000 cashback and taken away 400. That means they give 1% in most of the cases. I am using Regalia, Axis and Simply Click as well. I believe Regalia is better than cashback card.

Most likely you have used your card in great Indian sale or big billion sale for instant discount plus cashback. They are taking back the cashback part now. Many users have reported this on twitter

I am sharing my experience of applying sbi cashback card i applied on 6th dec and done kyc on 7th dec and today my card got approved with limit 196000 i am holding Simplyclick with limit 224000 and paytm sbi with limit 102000.

Even I applied on 3rd of Dec,got biometric done on 5th & card was delivered on 18th of Dec with limit 2.15l, no SBI card ever applied,no SBI Account, no docs asked ,application approved on CIBIL(785) basis.
