Have you tried recently? They are just sending mycards link to pre close the EMI, the option to cancel is removed they are saying as it was being mis used to get discounts 😕

I did 20 days back and it worked. No charges were involved.

Hdfc guys are not cancelling the EMI and saying only pre closure is available, they are just sending mycards link. Same experience for me and my friend. I wonder whether SBI trick works here.

Yes, yesterday cancelled on icici.

Did they reverse the processing fee ? Did they charge you 3% preclosure fee ? My transaction of no cost emi just converted today and they have mentioned 3% preclosure fee. Even they have mentioned the same in the email.

I have not called customer care. Will call tomorrow after receiving the product I had ordered. Just scared after seeing the email.

Yes. The charges are for pre closure. We are going for cancellation.

They will close try multiple times connecting the cc if one is not doing it.
