@Zeel
You should create a new thread. This is indeed an important finding (if true). Give appropriate title, describe the process in detail. Also attach some proof/screenshot (if possible).

You can also attach a link of your first post in this thread regarding this issue (i.e., following one).

Tagging some mods to help you out: @vaibhav111 @kuchbhi @cardio_guy

Edit: Create a new thread or merge some relevant posts from this thread related to reward DC with the following thread (with some modifications):

Mujhe v avi avi pata chala. Now looking for alternative ways to get this one. I have to sacrifice either millennia or plat. But dont know how long this easy option to earn rewards will remain. Let me know if u get clarity before mine. I will share if i get to know before u. DEAL what say @kuchbhi ?

It
What I have understood is that they have considered Payzapp for 5% category for all transactions done on Payzapp except wallet loading. That's why Credit Card Bill Payment is also considered.

The concern is that what is the capping, it says 2000 RP/month if its 1:1 then for 40k Bill Payment you earn 2k which is amazing but it is sounding too good to be true honestly. There must be some catch or I have mis interpreted something.
s 4:1 iirc

Where did you see that its 4:1 or 5:1?

It is clearly mentioned 5% in the webpage.
I also checked in net banking redemption page it was not clear there. Per month cap also not there.
Only mentioned that we can redeem in every 250 points. (1 point = 1 Rupees).

Pls. enlighten us if you have additional info.
Cap of 2000 points pm mentioned

Value of Reward points: 1 = Rs. 0.2. Maximum Rs. 400/ month
Could u pls add some proof or screenshot regarding that. Because we r unable to locate anything on this.

As far as my memory goes, it was 4:1 (or 5:1) used to be the case earlier. That was displayed in the net-banking redemption page.
That is not longer mentioned now. May be they have upgraded the dc or something else that we don't know yet.

5:1 is possibly the generic conversion ratio applied for their lower end cc.

Pls. revert.

If you compare it with easy shop platinum dc, it's 5:1 because it gives 5x better rewards than ESP dc

Based on its position in hierarchy of HDFC debit cards, I assume that the value back would be Rs. 400 / month

I looked at it otherwise.

Ohh. that means it was just a general statement and not based on facts. Ok.
----
Earlier HDFC used to follow conversion ratio kind of reward structure in their DC cashback as well (excl. Plat and millennia). But now, I can't find anything as such.

Hence hopeful. Based on my understanding it could be either 1:1 (hopeful) or 2:1 (i.e., 1 reward every 200 txn.) or 4:1 (earlier conversion ratio).

Tagging a few others who have good knowledge on these @desiviru @6ix9ine
