No way to apply IDFC First Wow Card - Query & Discussion

Hello folks,

I am already an existing customer of IDFC having a SB account since last month. Since then, I have successfully created a FD of Rs. 20000 (auto renewal on) so that I can apply for first wow card.

While applying for the card from the wow card page, it takes my name, DOB, mobile no. , OTP, PAN, income, address, etc as input and then farts out a completely unrelated bunch of cards which I absolutely don't need. Now there is no link/URL to apply for wow card via mobile app or IB.

Has anyone here faced this situation? If yes, how did you manage to apply?

//Edit: I raised a request the day before yesterday and got a phone call from them yesterday assuring me that I would be able to see the FD based card on their offer list but it turned out to be a lie. The offer page still shows 4 unsecured cards.

Yes, Wow card FD interest rate is 7.25%, unlike a normal FD.
Have you got any more LE than the FD amount?

Yes, again, you have to do it for an unsecured card or an add-on. Ashva & Mayura, they give without Vkyc if you already hold an unsecured core card.

Actually my FD interest rate is exactly 7%. I think the tenure is same (with autorenewal on).

Nope, just 100% of the FD amount as mentioned in the wow page. If I ever apply for enhancing limit on this card by booking another FD, will I have to do vKYC again?

No, VKYC is required. You’ll need to request the special link to add more FDs.
