All Power Distribution Companies in Andhra and Telangana are not registered with BBPS.

How are Telugu people of both States going to pay their electricity bills? Are they going to stand on queue in front of electricity offices?

Ap and TG, Power distribution companies are not of BBPS billers, because they don't want as they need to pay X amount for BBPS for the service.

Alternatively, They launched Bids to collect payments, Billdesk, Paytm (Apspdcl, dont know abt others) ... quoted less. Also due to state govt. Guidelines, APonline(part of meeseva) is also available to pay.

Aponline, I don't alternative of it for TG.

I can see only ADANI and BEST from maharashtra

Also it seems several, recently migrated to BBPS as billers so it takes some time to update in backend for service providers and payment agregators.

No problem at all in paying BEST bills using Amazon pay even right now

several are being, paying bills specially via third party payment aggregators like bill desk and other fintechs.

the bills paid by users are not timely settled or not been successfully, this created issues and seems. RBI banned payment aggregators to process non-bbps bill payments via their payment gateway.

payu, paytm and other paymet gateway service providers can not use or give their gateway channels, to process bill payments.

*Billdesk individually partnered will billers, so they are not effected but we need to see in future what will happen.

I paid directly from the TSSPDCL app using Paytm UPI. UPI payment using Rupay card failed, so paid from bank account. Got some useless scratch cards.

On new media it was mention due to security purposes and to stream line payments. Also they will not onboard BBPS in near future anytime soon unless Bill desk can't handle the load. Or maybe Bill desk did lobbying to get the deal so it can loot consumers with convenience charges.

But I don't see Amazon walled only Airtel, MobiKwik, Yes bank and Pockets. I tried RuPay CC amount got debited and reversed.
